Bio

Zach Larimer is a multi-instrumentalist, writer, and teacher based in New York City. Originally from Orlando, Florida he began studying the oboe and the other woodwind instruments at age twelve. As a woodwind doubler he plays 13 instruments including double reeds, single reeds, and flutes.&nbspSince coming to New York he has performed with a variety of ensembles such as the NYU Symphony, One World Symphony, The Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra, Amore Opera, as well as several musicals with Tisch New Theatre.  Though he enjoys performing music of all kinds, his main musical interests lie in woodwind doubling and contemporary music and he is always seeking new ways to combine the two.
