Yun-Feng HSU is a Lyric Tenor and one of Taiwan’s rising
young singers; Even as a child, he was already full of passion for music. In
2012, Yun-Feng graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree from the Taipei
National University of the Arts, where he studied under Prof. Renata Tang, Presently,
he is studying at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Rostock under Prof.
Klaus Häger.

As a singer, Yun-Feng is particularly attracted to
Baroque Music, German Lieder and Mozart. He has taken
opera roles including: Ferrando in Mozart’s Cosi
fan tutte, Pedrillo in Mozart’s Die
Entführung aus den Serail and Edoardo in Rossini’s La cambiale di matrimonio. He is also in demand as a concert singer. His repertoire includes
Handel’s Messiah, Haydn’s Die
Schöpfung, Beethoven’s 9th Symphony,
Mendelssohn’s Lobgesang, Paulus and Elijah, Schubert’s Mass in E flat Major, Bruckner’s Mass in F minor, Gounod’s St, Cecilia Mass and Orff’s Carmina Burana. He has taken on the
song cycles from Schubert and Schumann, such as Die Schöne Müllerin and Dichterliebe,
and the Lieder selections from Brahms, Mahler and Wolf for his recital program. 

Yun-Feng has often been invited
to appear at music festivals, including Burapha Music Festival in
Thailand, Kathaumixw Music Festival in Canada and
Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival in Germany. 

Yun-Feng was also awarded a scholarship from the Collegium
Musicum Mainz in September 2017, and from the Rotary Club of Taoyuan in September
