Bio

In March 2015 Vojtech performed at the Heinz-Hilpert-Theater in Germany as Belmonte and he sang the same role in June in an open-air performance in Schwanenburg-Kleve. He sang again at the Heinz-Hilpert Theater for an opera gala concert and, in Spring 2015, he was honoured by singing in a concert at the Czech Embassy in Berlin. Vojtech Kadera graduated from the Janacek Conservatory in Ostrava in cello and continued his voice studies under Medea Iassonidou at the Synchrono Odeio Athens in Greece, graduating in 2007. In 2010-2011, Vojtech was a member of Santa Cecilia Opera Studio in Rome under the direction of Renata Scotto, Anna Vandi and Cesare Scarton. In 2011 he was a finalist at the Internationalen Gesangbettweber Schlossoper Haldenstein in Switzerland. In 2013/14 he had a series of concerts with the Pilsen Philharmonic Orchestra, where he performed tenor solos from Mozart&rsquos Coronation Mass, Haydn’s Creation Oratorio and The 4th Symphony by A. Schnittke. In 2012, Vojtech made his German debut as Belmonte in W. A. Mozart's "Die Entfuhrung aus dem Serail“ with the Frankfurter Sinfoniker. In 2012/13 he experimented with different concert repertoire in Valencia, Rome, Paris, Shanghai, Beijing and Vienna, singing the title role in G. F. Handel's opera "Serse". He performed Janacek’s song cycle "The Diary of One who Disappeared“ in a special concert dedicated to Leos Janacek on his anniversary held by the Czech Embassy in Berlin. He has sung with the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, the Pilsen Philharmonic Orchestra, the Janacek Philharmonic Orchestra, the Frankfurter Sinfoniker, the Bamberger Symphoniker and the Elbipolis Barockorchester Hamburg. He has also taken part in important music festivals such as the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, the Festival Internacional de Música y Danza de Granada, the Istanbul International Music Festival, the International "Prague Spring" Festival and the Taiwan Music Festival.
