THE PRESS:

Mezzo-soprano, Veronica Amarres, is a real find.

                                           “The Chronicle”, London

Dramatic talent… Great coloratura and richness of timbre.

                                          “La libre belgique”, Brussels

Veronica Amarres - an incredible artist!.. The intonation and articulation of her coloratura was so precise that se felt that she had a hidden keyboard in her chest. What a fantastic effect! Lithuania has never heard such a performance of Rossini before. All of this was ideally combined with a relaxed beautiful sound and softness of voice.

                                         “Lietuvos rydas”,Vilnius (Lithuania)

Veronica Amarres is one of the best Rossini contraltos of the contemporary scene.

                                         “La Libertà”, Italy

Golden throat for Rossini's coloratura.

                                       „Il Giornale d’Italia“

A world-classe voice.

                                       „Neuburger Rundschau“, Germany

Veronica Amarres is a singer with a mezzo-soprano of magical beauty… An economy of gesture with powerful persuasiveness of manner. A voice strong, fresh, but especially wing-bourne, flying, a unique timbre - all fantastically calling by the singing tones of violin.

                                      “St.Petersburg Evening News”, Russia

Veronica Amarres captured audience with her beautiful dark toned mezzo-soprano with a brilliant and souveraine top and aroused Callas associations by many listeners... Whether passionate feelings or roguish temperament - Amarres had everything under control.

                                      “Badische Zeitung“, Germany

Veronica Amarres (mezzo-soprano) was like the “incarnation”of the vocal ideal of this part. She brought the unusually large vocal range that requires the mezzo-soprano part of the Verdi Requiem. Her voice has both on the top-notes and in the alto-tessiture a warm beautiful timbre. Her interpretation of Lux Aeterna, which she gave almost celestial radiance, became a "Höhepunkt" of the evening.

                                       “Rheinpfalz”, Germany

Veronica Amarres - dramatic talent coupled with the great beauty of the voice and a richness of timbre.
