Valérie Gabail

Lyric Soprano

Hire Valérie Gabail ›
«Soprano Valerie Gabail, who gave a real speaking, tragic quality to the recitation of the story. At the moment when Orpheus can’t resist looking back, and Eurydice slips away from him, the moment’s silence from all four musicians had a real frisson.»
Ivan Hewett/ The Telegraph (Wigmore Hall) (2016)
«Valérie Gabail sings Zima’s triumphant song in praise of love and youth (‘Regnez Plaisirs et Jeux’, with trumpet, woodwind and timpani) with a full-bodied radiance and intelligence.»
David Vickers/ Gramophone (2016)
