Svetlana Zlobina (Mezzo-soprano) Svetlana Zlobina was born in Moscow. In 2007 she graduated from the Moscow State musical College A. Schnittke and in 2012 she graduated from the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts GITIS (voice teacher T.V. Bashkirova). During her studies she performed the part of Nerone in the opera "L’Incoronazione di Poppea" by Monteverdi in the educational Theatre of GITIS in Moscow.  At Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre in Moscow she perfomed 2011-2015 several roles in the production "Die Zauberflöte" by W.A. Mozart (Second Lady, Third Lady, Second boy, Third boy).  There she was also a soloist in operas "Songs at the well" by E. Langer (world premiere), "The Blind" by L. Auerbach (Russian premiere) in the framework of the project "Laboratory of contemporary opera" (2012-2013). She took part in the cycle of concerts "Beauty, which supports my life" with music from the 16th-18th centuries at Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre in Moscow. In 2013 she sang the part of Polina in the premiere of Tchaikovsky's opera "The Queen of Spades" at the State musical Theatre in Saransk. In 2014 she sang the part of Tangia in the premiere of the opera “Le Cinesi” by C. W. Gluck at Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre in Moscow. 2014-2016 she perfomed the role of Zefka in the scenic version of L. Janáček's "Intimate diary" at the Kolobov Novaya Opera Theatre in Moscow. In 2014 she sang the part of Bradamante in the premiere of the opera “Alcina” by G. F. Händel at the Natalia Sats Musical Theater in Moscow. Svetlana made her debut at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow 2014-2016 in the new production of the opera "The story of Kai and Gerda" by S.Banevich, singing the role of Little robber girl. During 2015-2016 she performed the role of Sorceress in the opera "Dido and Aeneas" by H.Purcell in Central Actor's House in Moscow. In the summer 2015 she was a participant at Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg in Germany performing in G.Verdi’s “La Traviata” and in gala concerts. In 2015 she sang the part of Zoraide in a production of Romantisches Singspiel “Melisande” by J. Kinkel and G. Kinkel in LVR – Landesmuseum Bonn, Germany. In 2015 she recorded the CD for Toccata Classics Records with Songs and Dances of Matvey Nikolaevsky with pianist M.Mordvinov. She is a finalist of the singing contest “Bolshaja opera” at the State Russian TV with a jury: E. Obraztsova, I.Holender, G. Kalinina, D. Bertman in 2014 and a finalist of the I. International Eva Marton Singing Competition. Budapest, 2014 Maintains an active concert schedule in Russia, Germany, France, Austria, Armenia, Latvia, Malta, Belgium.
