Bio

Young italian baritone gifted by an impressive stage presence and a dark, charismatic voice in the best tradition of Italian &lsquo900 singing school. He is particularly appreciated for his exceptional mastery, vocal flexibility and great extension of his dramatic voice. He started studying with Soprano Anna Maria Ferrante, actually teacher in the Santa Cecilia conservatory in Rome, and then he studied with the great baritone Silvano Carroli after completing his studies in the above metioned Conservatory. In 2002 began his brilliant career with the solo role in the Pelosi’s “Mass for peace”. Then he is guest in the Rome’s Opera House for several productions like Respighi’s “Marie Victoire”, Puccini’s “Tosca”, Verdi’s “Don Carlo”. In 2004 he is Barone Scarpia in the Puccini’s “Tosca” performed in South Korea, Chang-Won Sung-San Art Hall and then in the Rome’s Opera House he sang Bellini’s “Sonnambula”, Puccini’s “Turandot”, Rendine’s “Un segreto d’importanza”, Donizetti’s “Fille du regiment” (under the Zeffirelli’s direction). In 2009 he is the solo voice in the Puolenc ballet “Les Biches” and he sang Puccini’s “Gianni Schicchi” for the academy of Trieste’s Verdi Theatre. In 2010 he is guest in the ShangHai World Expo for concerts and he debuted the Verdi’s “Aida” as Amonasro. In 2011 he is guest in the Damascus Opera House to sing “Gianni Schicchi” directed by Vivien Hewitt and conducted by Nahel alHalabi and work in the same Opera House for a Puccini’s Gala Concert and to hold a Masterclass for the Damascus Conservatory students. From 2012 he is often Escamillo in Bizet’s “Carmen”, Alfio in Mascagni’s “Cavalleria rusticana”(Malta’s Manoel Theatre) and Rigoletto in Verdi’s “Rigoletto” (Seoul Arts Center), Tonio in the Leoncavallo’s “Pagliacci” (italian Tournee), Conte di Luna in Verdi’s “Trovatore”. In 2014 he debuted as Solo voice in the Rome’s Opera House production of Orff’s “Carmina Burana” conducted by M° Gabbiani and he is conducted by M° Riccardo Muti in the Puccini’s Manon Lescaut directed by Chiara Muti. He recorded the first complete Mozart’s Masonic Music Collection for the Phoenix Recording House, first world complete recordings of the Mozart’s Masonic Music He was conducted by great Conducer: Riccardo Muti, Nello Santi, Gian Luigi Gelmetti, Steven Mercurio, Bruno Campanella, Marcello Panni, Marco Balderi, Stefano Seghedoni, Marzio Conti, Alain Lombard. He sang with great singers: Alberto Gazale, Ferruccio Furlanetto, Giovanna Casolla, Giuseppe Giacomini, Walter Fraccaro, Piero Giuliacci, Nicola Martinucci.
