Born in 1973 in Santo Andre, Sao Paulo, Brazil, Goethe has begun his self-taught musical studies when he was 12 y.o.   By the age of 18, Goethe focused his studies exclusively towards conducting, orchestration and composing by taking private classes with famous maestros as Cyro Pereira, Roberto Farias, Roberto Tibirica, Aylton Escobar, Stanley Derush (U.S.A) and Luiz Gorelik (Chile).   Goethe has also studied Fine Arts and Music at University of Music, Arts Faculty Alcantara Machado, all in the State of Sao Paulo, Brazil.   He has studied conducting with the German Maestro Kurt Masur, Director of the The National France Symphny Orchestra.   Goethe has participated in the main festivals of classic music in Brazil organized by the City of Curitiba Office of Music and The International Summer Music Course in Brasilia in the special Orchestra Conducting Chambers; also the Seminar Of Sacred Music by the Gospel Music Society, conducting choirs with maestros Joao Wilson Faustini and Samuel Kerr.   Under the sponsorship of the Vitae Foundation Goethe particpated at the International Conducting Workshop organised by the University of Concepcion in Chile.   Masterpieces of major composers conducted by Goethe are: Beethoven Bach, Mozart, Wagner, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Antonio Carlos Gomes, Dvorak, Stravisky, Tchaikovsky, Liszt, Chopin, Vicent Persichetti, Fernando Morais, Alberto Nepomuceno, Jean Frederic Perrenoud, Handel, E. Gieg, Haydn, Rossini, Vivaldi, Astor Piazzola, Samuel Barber, Georges Bizet, Brahms, Strauss and others.   As a conductor Goethe performed with different musical groups, such as: choirs, bands, orchestras and has a vast experience with Symphony Bands and Wind Ensemble.   Goethe was invited to conduct The Sudecka Philarmonic and Walbrzych, in Poland, Orquestra Filarmônica de Acapulco / México, The Symphonic Orchestra / Mussorgsky Opera and Ballet Theatre in St. Petersburg na Rússia.   Goethe successfully conducted a concert with The Zabrze Phylarmonic, in Poland and the world premiere of "Brasilia - Episode Symphony" by Brazilian composer Fernando Morais.   Besides conducting, Goethe has also demonstrated his talent as an arranger for Bands and Symphony Orchestras by writing and adapting works such as Aquarela of Brazil, by Ary Barroso and Chega de Saudade, by Tom Jobin. Goethe was among the finalists of the First Brazilian Quest of Orchestra Scoring for Symphony Bands.   Goethe also idealized and founded the Philarmônica São Paulo Orchestra of which he is artistic director and principal conductor since its founding in 2003, where is developing cultural projects in addition to performing corporate concerts with complete formations and small formation.   Received the award PROIN 2011 for its notorious professional competence, offered by the University UNIÍTALO.   He conducted the Philarmônica São Paulo Orchestra's opening concert of the Orchestra with the Italian Tenor Andrea Bocelli at the Jockey Club de São Paulo for an audience of more than 20 thousand people accompanying the singer, also Italian, David Carbone.
