Bio


SILVIA
REGAZZO, mezzo soprano,
was born in Rovigo. After a Master Degree in Philosophy, she graduated in
Singing with honors at Conservatorio Benedetto Marcello of Venice. She won
various International Singing Competitions: Toti
Dal Monte in 2001, Città Lirica
Opera-Studio in 2003 and 2006, Città
di Bologna in 2009 (young talents section) and Giulio Neri in 2010 (Chamber Music section).

She
made her debut as Quickly in Verdi’s Falstaff. Later she sang Dido in Purcell’s Dido
and Aeneas, Cornelia in Händel’s Giulio Cesare in Egitto, Orphée in
Gluck-Berlioz’s Orphée, Volpino in Haydn’s Lo Speziale, Cherubino in Mozart’s Le
Nozze di Figaro, Third Dame in Mozart’s Die Zauberfloete, Madama
Rosa in Donizetti’s Il Campanello, Pippo in Rossini’s La Gazza Ladra (Teatro
Filarmonico-Verona), Rosina and Berta in Rossini’s Il Barbiere di Siviglia,
Stephano in Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette (Teatro
Grande-Brescia), Meg in Verdi’s Falstaff, Maddalena in Verdi’s Rigoletto
