Dramatic Soprano, Shayne Dalva was born in Santa Monica, California and started singing at a very young age because her Mother was a musician, song writer and music arranger for Motown.  She received a music scholarship for Vocal Arts at the University of California Long Beach in 2000, and continued her training with Vladimir Chernov (world known baritone, professor at UCLA). She has sung the roles of, Tosca (Tosca) by Giacomo Puccini, Amelia (Un Ballo in Maschera) by Giuseppe Verdi, Sieglinde (Die Walkure) by Richard Wagner, Ariadne (Ariadne Auf Naxos) by Richard Strauss, Elsa (Lohengrin)  by Richard Wagner and Senta (Flying Dutchman) by Richard Wagner.  Her concert works include, The Four Last Songs of Richard Strauss (performed at the Galveston Opera House) and Verdi's Requiem (Soprano soloist).  Shayne has sung with various opera companies and orchestras such as,  Golden West Opera (California), Opera Integra ( London, England), Opera at Bearwood (West Berkshire, England), Opera Nova (Santa Monica), Vocal Productions NYC,  Bellflower Orchestra (California) and the Galveston Symphony (Texas). She recently won 2nd place prize  for best vocal artist in the Gershwin International Music Competition in New York. Shayne recently made her debut as Brunnhilde in Siegfried by Richard Wagner with Walhalla Productions (San Francisco, California).
