Bio

Sebastian Subatin: He is Licensed in chamber music received in Lanús's National University. Began the studies of flute  with Gabriel Sorin, at the same time he is a scholarship holder for the Foundation Bariloche to integrate the course of Artistic Interdisciplines. Later  takes part of the Seminar of Chamber music of the Institute Goethe directed by composer Gerardo Gandini with whom he continues his studies of composition and harmony. From 1979 it is perfected in flute by the teacher Pablo Levín (Colon Theatre Orchestra flute soloist) being afterwards his assistant in the school directed by the Maestro. In 1980 he founds the “Hamelin  Flute Quartet”  with which offers concerts in the whole country , broadcasting television programs, radios and neighboring countries. In 1986 he was a scholarship holder for the Foundation Citybank for the course of chamber music dictated by the teachers Tomas Tichauer, Guelfo Nalli and Mónica Cosachov in the frame of the Camerata Bariloche. Between 1987 and 1990 takes part of the Course of Chamber music that mentioned M. Cosachov was dictating in the Interdisciplinary School of Music by her directed. He has developed an intense concertistic activity with pianists between whom Carina Juni and Susana Szlukier are outlined, with diverse sets of chamber music groups as for example the Hamelin  Flute Quartet, the Baroque Trio of Buenos Aires or the Trio Matiegka.
