Mezzosoprano Šárka Hrbáčková was educated at the conservatory in Czech republic in České Budějovice , where she graduated in the class of Dagmar Volfová in 2003. In summer 2002 she participated in masterclasses by Peter Dvorsky, led by prof. Eva Blahová and in the same year she won 2nd award in singing competition of Concert and spiritual music in Kroměříž. Sarka Hrbackova is the winner of the Southbohemian Stanislava Součková award in 2013 for best singer in the role of Santuzza in Pietro Mascagni ´s opera Cavalleria rusticana and in 2015 for the role of Carmen in George Bizet´s opera Carmen.

Between 2004 – 2012 she was the member of the ensemble of the Silesian Theatre in Opava.

At the time she has appeared there - among others – as Adalgisa (Norma), Witch, Foreign Princess (Rusalka), Azucena (Il Trovatore), Dalila (Samson et Dalila), Hänsel (Hänsel und Gretel).

In the spring of 2009 she had the opportunity to study the role of Ohna in the opera Kaguya-hime Japanese composer and conductor Hideaki Hirai and under his baton for the first time this opera performed in the Czech Republic in the Municipal House in Prague.

Sarka is regular guest with the ensemble opera of South Bohemian Theater Ceske Budejovice (in 2013 she debuted as Santuzza in Cavalleria rusticana and in 2014 as Carmen in Bizet´s Carmen, in 2015 as Amneris in Verdi ´s Aida under general music director Mario de Rose) , Revolving auditorium in Cesky Krumlov (in 2012 as Maddalena in Rigoletto – Verdi, in 2015 and 2016 as Carmen , in 2017 and 2018 as Azucena in Il Trovatore and Witch/Foreign Princess in Rusalka).  
From 2014 is Sarka regular guest of National theatre Prague.

In addition, she was a guest at the J.K. Tyl Theatre in Plzen (Rosina – Il Barbiere di Siviglia), the Šalda Theatre – Liberec (Second wood sprite – Rusalka, Maddalena – Rigoletto) the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre in Ostrava ( Zulma – L´ Italiana in Algeri, Meg Page – Falstaff, Bersi – Andrea Cheniér) . She has performed on stages and concert halls in Germany, Austria, Portugal, Spain andPoland.

 She love to sing also concerts of spiritual music.
