Bio


Full lyric soprano Sarah Cossaboon is equally at home on the opera and concert stages. She has been a soloist with the Mittelrhein Musikfestival, Monschau Klassik Festspiele, Nordharzer Städtebundtheater, Mittelsächsisches Theater, Kammeroper Köln, Rhein-Main Philharmoniker, Philharmonischer Chor Fürstenfeldbruck, Frankfurter Nacht der Museen, Puchheimer Taschenoper, Theater in Pfarrkirchen, and the Kulturgipfel, among others, where she has been praised by press and audience alike. As an actress, she has been featured at Cologne's Horizont Theater in a piece that was nominated for the Kölner Theaterpreis. Ms. Cossaboon is also a prizewinner of the Bel Canto masterclass and competition series. Ms. Cossaboon earned a Master of Music degree from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston. Her Bachelor degree was earned jointly at the College of New Jersey and the Frankfurt Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst. She has also been an active participant in master classes with Peter Schreier, Norma Sharp, James Hooper, Doreen Defeis, Gabriella Lechner, Thomas J. Mayer and, most recently, Gustavo Jimenez and Stefano Seghedoni at the Opera Varna, Bulgaria.
