Sara Pegoraro, after a degree in Foreign Languages, graduated in Singing at "Conservatorio B. Marcello" of Venice; afterwards she obtained the "Diploma Accademico di Secondo Livello" with honors at "Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali F. Vittadini" in Pavia. Further studies took place at "Palacio de Congresos" in Zaragoza (Spain) with M. Caballé, at "Scuola di Fiesole" with C. Desderi, at "Mozarteum Summer Academy" in Salzburg (Austria) with A. Althoff-Pugliese. Now she studies under the supervision of F. Cordeiro. She made her debut in Venice at "Festival La Biennale" as Don Ettore in J. Haydn’s "La Canterina". Later, she sang Donna Rosina in J.S. Mayr’s "Che Originali!", Eugenia in B. Galuppi’s "Il Filosofo di Campagna", Donna Elvira in W. A. Mozart’s "Don Giovanni", Marcellina in W.A. Mozart's "Le nozze di Figaro", the Zweite Dame in W. A. Mozart’s "Die Zauberflöte", the main character in G. Verdi’s "Aida". Sara Pegoraro’s concert credits include Wagner’s "Wesendonck-Lieder" (Turin and Bologna), C. Saint-Saëns’ "Oratorio de Noël" (Teatro Fraschini, Pavia), G. B. Pergolesi’s "Stabat Mater" (Venice), C. Debussy’s "Fêtes Galantes" (Pavia), the complete performance of F. Mendelssohn-Bartholdy’s "Songs for two voices" ("Giornate Wagneriane" at Ca’ Vendramin Calergi, Venice), R. Schumann’s "Frauenliebe und Leben" and "Spanische-Lieder" (Bologna), A. Lotti’s "Messa Concertata" (Basilica di Santa Maria Assunta, Aquileia), H. Fiocco’s "Lamentationes" (Abbazia Benedettina, Sesto al Reghena), J.S. Bach’s "Magnificat" (Vicenza). She enjoyed successful collaborations with conductors (Alberto Veronesi, Michael Balke, Maurizio Dini Ciacci, Mauro Roveri…) and instrumental ensembles (Cameristi del Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Daphne Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra F. Vittadini in Pavia, Vivaldi Consort, I Solisti Barocchi in Venice, Teatro Armonico in Vicenza...), performing in various events such as: Prima Diffusa in Milan, Festival Puccini (Fondazione Festival Pucciniano, Torre del Lago), Festival Internazionale di Musica at Fondazione S. Cecilia (Portogruaro), Festa dell’Opera (Fondazione Teatro Grande, Brescia), Musei in musica (Pavia), San Giacomo Festival (Bologna), Giornate Wagneriane (Richard Wagner Society, Venice), Akademiakonzert (Salzburg, Austria), Festival di Musica Antica Veneziana e Veneta (Venice). In 2009, she obtained the “Richard Wagner Society Scholarship” for the “Wagner Festival” in Bayreuth (Germany). In 2014, she won the first prize at Montecchio Maggiore International Singing Competition. Recently, he has also achieved first world recording of Franco Margola’s complete songs for voice and piano for the label Rainbow Classics.
