Bio


Born in Padova, Sara studied piano from when she was a child, and she took the Master’s Degree in singing at the Conservatorio Statale di Musica C. Pollini in Padua (teacher Cosetta Tosetti) in 2012 (final mark 10/10 cum laude). She improved her study with William Matteuzzi, Elizabeth Norberg-Schulz and Antonella Pianezzola, and actively attended several masterclasses with important international singers and conductors: Sara Mingardo, Prof. Eva Izykowska (F. Chopin University of Music, Warsaw), M. Hans Michael Beuerle, Mara Zampieri, M. Emiliano Facchinetti, Mariella Devia, Mietta Sighele, Elizabeth Norberg-Schulz and Erling Ragnar Eriksen (she sang during the final concert of the students deemed worthy at the Accademia Filarmonica Romana), Luciana Serra, M. Nahel Al Halabi, Prof. Josef Wallnig (Universität Mozarteum, Salzburg). She also attended the high specialization course for the musical staging of the opera L’Olimpiade by J. Myslivecek, held by the “Scuola dell’Opera Italiana” in Bologna, obtaining a contract as the cover of two roles (Megacle and Alcandro) at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna (Conductor Oliver von Dohnányi, Director Luděk Golat). Now she is attending a Master course in singing at the Conservatorio Statale di Musica B. Marcello in Venice (teacher Stefano Gibellato).

Sara was ranked third at the International Singing Competition "Voci nuove per Volterra". She was finalist in various international singing competitions: Concours International de Belcanto Vincenzo Bellini (Vendôme, France), Cleto Tomba (Castel S. Pietro Terme, BO), Città di Ferrara - with special mention - (Ferrara), Gaetano Fraschini (Pavia), Rassegna Musicale Migliori Diplomati dei Conservatori e Istituti Musicali Pareggiati d’Italia (Castrocaro Terme, BO), Premio Etta Limiti - for the prize "Young Female Talent" (Milan), Ferruccio Tagliavini (Deutschlandsberg, Austria).

Sara interpreted the role of Bionda in the opera Il ratto dal serraglio for children by W. A. Mozart (music elaboration and arrangement by Alexander Krampe of the Singspiele Die Entführung aus dem Serail - Coproduction with the Salzburg Festival) in the Teatro Alla Scala in Milan, conducted by Michele Gamba and with the staging direction of  Johannes Schmid.
She also was: Susanna in the opera Le nozze di Figaro  by W. A. Mozart (Conductor Davide Perniceni, Director Thilo Reinhardt) in the Daegu Opera House (Daegu, South Korea); Barbarina in the opera Le nozze di Figaro  by W. A. Mozart (Conductor Sergio Alapont, Director Francesco Bellotto), Il Cavaliere Armidoro in La Cecchina, ossia la buona figliuola  by N. Piccinni (Conductor Eddi De Nadai, Director Martin Ruis) and Maria in the contemporary opera Atlas 101 by G. Mancuso (Conductor Giovanni Mancuso, Director Chiara Tarabotti) in the Teatro Comunale Mario del Monaco in Treviso; Clarina in the opera La cambiale di matrimonio by G. Rossini in the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza (Conductor Giovanni Battista Rigon, Director Marco Gandini); Matilde in the opera Giulietta e Romeo  by N. Zingarelli in the Teatro Malibran (Teatro La Fenice) in Venice (Conductor Maurizo Dini Ciacci, Director Francesco Bellotto); Gilda in the opera Rigoletto by G. Verdi in the Teatro Persio Flacco in Volterra, Annina in the opera Traviata by G. Verdi in Mantova, Sirmione and Ponti sul Mincio (for the international association “Federazione Musicale Internazionale” represented by Sem Cerritelli); Prima Sorella Cercatrice in the opera Suor Angelica  by G. Puccini in Padua (staging direction of Mara Zampieri).
Sara participated as a soloist in the following international events: In Principio, review of sacred music organized by the Foundation “Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto” (singing Tre Offertoria by F. Schubert op. 46, op. 47 and op. 153, and Et incarnatus est from the Große Messe in c-Moll K 427 by W. A. Mozart), conducted by Fabio Sperandio; Musikwochen Millstatt (Millstatt, Austria) - concert "Mozart meets Rossini"; Festival Galuppi  in Venice (three editions), conducted by M. Paolo Faldi (singing, between the programs, the role of Abida in the oratory Il Moisè, ovvero Israele dissetato by B. Galuppi, world premiere in modern times) and accompanied by the orchestra “I Virtuosi Veneti” and the “Orchestra Barocca di Bologna”, performing with important artists such as Sara Mingardo and Bianca Simone. She also sang as a soloist at the concert for the 130
th
anniversary of Il Gazzettino, in the presence of the President of the Italian Republic and other authorities (Palazzo Ducale, Venice), and at the concert “Concerto per le sacre ceneri - Giovanni Gabrieli e l’Europa” (organized with the Foundation “Teatro La Fenice” in Venice), performing with international interprets such as Lia Serafini, Marco Scavazza and Walter Testolin.

Sara performs as a soloist in Italy and abroad, singing repertories from the ancient to opera and contemporary music (baroque, lyrical, Lieder).
