Bio

Samuel Hinkle, praised for his "strong baritone voice" and "solid projection," is an emerging artist from Fort Worth, Texas. He holds both a Master of Music and a Master of Musical Arts degree from the Yale School of Music, where he studied under the tutelage of renowned bass-baritone Richard Cross. He completed his Bachelor of Music degree at Mannes College The New School for Music in New York City. In the summer of 2016, Samuel was an apprentice artist as Central City Opera, where he performed the role of Jacob in The Ballad of Baby Doe. Other credits include Il Conte in Le nozze di Figaro with Yale Opera, Papageno in Die Zauberflöte with the Siena Music Festival, and the part of The Traveller in Britten's seldom performed Curlew River with Ballet Opera Pantomime Montreal.
