Samuel’s concert repertoire comprises major oratorios and art songs. His recital of ‘Die Schöne Müllerin’ in Frankfurt, Germany was acclaimed, as was his broadcast of Ferdinand Hiller Songs for the West German Radio (WDR). His performances of Bach’s Christmas Oratorio in Jerusalem and Bethlehem with the Weimar Belvedere Orchestra were a particular highlight. He was invited to the live rounds of the Kohn Foundation Song Competition at Wigmore Hall, London, together with Hannah Harnest, with whom he also performs regularly.
