Dutch / American Baritone Ryan Hugh Ross holds degrees fromSouthwest Minnesota State University, California State University-Long Beach,and Wales International Academy of Voice where he studied with world renowned tenor Dennis O’Neill CBE.  He is in demand on the operatic stage and concert performances.  Ryan continues to work in promotion of works which were suppressed by theThird Reich andrecently gave the US premiere of Two Songs for Baritone and Orchestra by suppressed Viennese composer Julius Bürger (whose works he champions) in Marshall, Minnesota as part of the Voicesof Exile Festival at Southwest Minnesota State University in October 2016.Past concert performances include Bass soloist in the following - Faure Requiem & Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass with Aberystwyth Choral Society,  Mozart Requiem with Minehead ChoralSociety, Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle with Aberystwyth Choral Society, Haydn’s Missa Cellensiswith Collegium Musicum- Marbella, Spain,  Carmina Burana with the Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra-St. David’s Hall-Cardiff.Upcoming and Recent roles include Sciarrone (Cover) in Puccini's TOSCA with Grange Park Opera, Title Role in EUGENE ONEGIN at the Rhosygilwen Estate-Wales- Both Summer 2017;   the Knife Grinder in Bart’s OLIVER! alongside Simon Keenlyside as Fagin, Monk in Verdi’s DON CARLO with Grange Park Opera 2016; Avram the Bookseller alongside Bryn Terfel as Tevye in Stein’s FIDDLER ON THE ROOF which included a reprisal for the 2015 BBC Proms & Captain Buyanov in Tchaikovsky’s EUGENE ONEGIN for Grange Park Opera; Scottish Soldier in Michael Puts' SILENT NIGHT, Italian Debut as Marcello in Puccini's LA BOHEME for the International Barga Bel Canto Festival in Barga, Italy.       Ryan resides in Cardiff, Wales with his wife - Mezzo-Soprano, Siȃn Cameron.
