Rosana Orsini

Light Lyric Soprano

Hire Rosana Orsini ›
«Orsini herself proved to be an engaging interpreter. She has a light, agile voice that suited the works perfectly. (…) Orsini — a drop-dead beauty who looks like she just stepped out of a Helmut Newton photograph came back strong in a dramatic aria from Bernardo de Souza Queiroz’ opera “Zaira.” It was a heartfelt performance and a fine climax to the concert.»
THE WASHINGTON POST (2017)
«In couple at San Miguel dos Agros, soprano Rosana Orsini put vocal colour accompanied by organist Marco Brescia: sacred Luso-Brazilian repertoire of European influence, from Italian baroque style until Viennese classicism, which could be noticed in Baldi, Lobo de Mesquita or Marcos Portugal. A singer of virtuous coloraturas who closed the evening with a bis with sacred text based on the famous Una voce poco fa', from Rossini's Barber of Seville.»
El Correo Gallego (2017)
«The group presented an association of stylistic convincing performances, very expressive and with good interaction among musicians. In both cantatas by José de Nebra, soprano Rosana Orsini associated a good articulation of the sacred text with a solid vocal performance, answering the technical and expressive demands of the arias. One should highlight the delicacy with which she sang the aria Con la paz tu amor convida and the energy put in the passages of bravura present in both works.»
