«“a real dramatic soprano that savored with aplomb every moment of this difficult score and can also float a sweet Verdi cantilena”»

«“Tall, handsome and dramatic, D’Imperio delivered in big, vibrant, beautiful voice...this woman is a real find: has presence, breath control, even a trill."»
The News-times (2016)
«"Rosa D'Imperio's glorious soprano recalls the "golden days" of great voices, easily cutting through the orchestra and filling the hall with heavenly sound…Dramatic soprano Rosa D’Imperio beguiled us singing the duet from Aida "Ciel mio padre...Rivedrai le foreste imbalsamate". Ms. D’Imperio’s Latin warmth and Italianate temperament are a gift to all of us who yearn for the big beautiful voices. She followed with a magnificent and thrilling “Pace, pace mio Dio” from Verdi’s “La forza del destino.” I recall Mme. Tebaldi singing this aria at a concert at the old Met about fifty something years ago and not since then have I heard it sung with such abandon...Rosa D’Imperio was right up there with the immortals."»
