Petri Lindroos, opera singer,  bass, and lecturer of vocal technique at Sibelius academy, Helsinki.     CV   Since his Master degree of Music at the Sibelius academy in Helsinki 1997 Petri Lindroos has occured at many operahouses in the major European cities such as Helsinki, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Oslo, Brussels, Luxembourg, Paris, London, Munich, Milan, Rome etc. His rolerepertoire includes such as King Filip (Don Carlo, Verdi), Fiesco (Simone Boccanegra, Verdi), Zaccharia (Il Nabucco, Verdi), Mefisto (Mefisto, Boito), Mefistophéles (Faust, Gounod AND La Damnation du Faust, Berloiz), Sarastro (Die Zauberflöte, Mozart), Figaro (Le Nozze di Figaro, Mozart), Commendatore and Leporello (Don Giovanni, Mozart), Gremin (Onegin, Tsaikovskij) and Pimen (Boris Godunov, Mussorgskij) a few to mention. He is also a very aftersought interpreter of the big passions and masses throughout whole Europe. To his last successes may be mentioned his interpreted Pimen in Boris Godunov at the Finnish National Opera stage and his appearing as Leporello with the La Monnaie-tour in Tokyo and a series of Verdis Requiem (Westminster Cathedral, Verdi Festival in Parma, (Riccardo Muti)) and a tour with the Bawarian Radio-orchestra doing Messe Solennelle by Berlioz also under the baton of Maestro Riccardo Muti (2007).  Furthermore You can mention an observed debut as the Commendatore in the Don Giovanni-production at the Festival de Radio France in Montpellier and Sarastro at the Opera Berlioz also in Montpellier and Le Chatelet in Paris.  In fall 2008 he made his debut at the La Scala opera in Milan as King Fhilip in Don Carlo conducted by maestro Daniele Gatti and in 2009 he sang Sarastro at the Chatelet opera (Paris). Furthermore he sang at the La Scala Tannhäuser-production 2010  with maestro Mehta as conductor. In the seasons 2011/12-2012/13 Lindroos home stage was Den Norske Opera in Oslo-Norway where he appeared in roles as Sarastro, Basilio, Colline and Ramfis among others.  In the season -13/-14 Mr Lindroos appeared as Daland (Fliegende Holländer) at the Theater of Wiesbaden (Germany), as Colline in La Boheme at the Norwegian National Opera, Oslo, as Commendatore in Don Giovanni at the Royal Theatre of Denmark, Copenhagen and as Kalervo in Kullervo at the Savonlinna Operafestival, Finland. He also appeared as Bass soloist in Verdi’s Requiem with Orchestra and Coro di Teatro san Carlo, Napoli and in the same piece in Falun and Västerås (Sweden). In 2015 Lindroos sung the big bass role of Jeronimus (C. Nielsens Maskarade) at the Royal Theatre of Denmark and Hunding (Walkyre) in Montreal (Can) and Narbal (Les Troyens, Berlioz) at Staatsoper Hamburg. In addition he  still coaches and teaches students and professionals from the whole Scandinavia and is proud to be able to give forth the formidable singing technique he was tought by his father, the famous tenor, Peter Lindroos.
