  Born in Zaragoza, Spain in 1987 Patricia García Gil is one of the most promising pianist of her generation. Her short career has already given rise to a considerable amount of concert tours    throughout the world, having performed recitals and concerts as a soloist with different orchestras in Spain, Portugal, France, Holland, England, Scotland, Italy, Mexico, Algeria, South Africa, Argentina, Chile and Uruguay.   Patricia began her studies at the Conservatoire of Zaragoza. Right after obtaining her Bmus (honours) she won four internationally renowned scholarships to pursue her education abroad at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, UK. At the RNCM Patricia gained a Masters in Solo Performance under the tutelage of C. Stone and continued her success in competitions by winning The Hilda Collens Memorial Award.   In 2012 Patricia was admitted at The International Piano Academy “Incontri col Maestro” in Imola (Italy), where she received the advice of V. Ashkenazy. Currently, she developes her interest in historical performance with the practice of Fortepiano at the “Bartolomeo Cristofori” Academy in Florence (Italy) and in the French Foundations of “Abbaye aux dames” and “Royaumont”.   From a very early age she has won a number of important National and International Competitions. Included in her success is gaining the first prize in; “Ciutat de Manresa” (Barcelona), “Ciutat de Carlet” (Valencia), “Santa Cecilia” (Segovia), “Ciudad de Linares, Marisa Montiel” ( Jaén),“Ciudad de Huesca” (Huesca), “Ricard Viñes” (Lérida), “Sant Anastasi” (Lérida) “Ciudad de San Sebastián” (San Sebastian), “Compositores de España” (Vigo),“Ruperto Chapi” (Alicante),“Chopin Competition” (Manchester) and “ Duo Prize” (Manchester).   As the resident Orchestral Pianist of the World Orchestra she has a vital platform to inspire young musicians from over 60 countries who participate in the project. In recent years the World Orchestra has carried out important diplomatic work, promoted international cooperation through music and subsequently was awarded the accolade of 'Cultural Ambassador' by the Culture of Peace Foundation. She also collaborates in other Social Projects such as “One Education System” in the UK or the Youth Choirs and Orchestras in Argentina and Chile.   From 2014 she performs classic and romantic repertoire on period instruments (pianoforte, harpsichord and organ) with the Jeune Orchestre Atlantique and has become part of the Atlantic Coast Orchestra in Portugal and the Orquesta del Reino de Aragón in Spain with whom she performs the symphonic repertoire with piano.   Patricia passionately believes in the idea of a complete musician; being creative, keeping an open mind and constantly striving for personal musical development. Currently she participates in projects related to instrumental and vocal Chamber Music, Orchestra, Pedagogy and Multicultural Music diffusion with a particular enfranchise on Spanish Music and female composers unknown works. Not only music but Arts in general are Patricia’s source of inspiration and she incessantly experiment innovative collaborations between visual, scenic arts and music.
