Improving his italian tenor voice with famous Opera Singers, Paolo Bartolucci studied in "Accademia Beniamino Gigli” in Recanati with Nazzareno Antinori, in Santa Margherita Ligure in the International Courses with Gianni Raimondi and in Bologna and with Romano Emili. Winner of the International Competition "Città di Pisa -Titta Ruffo" for the role of Canio in I Pagliacci and Finalist of the Prizes "Mario Del Monaco" and "Mario Lanza", was selected to commemorate the great tenor Beniamino Gigli for RAIUNO (main Italian State TV Channel) and sang in a Live Concert on SKY for Gigli d'Oro award with Andrea Bocelli and others.
Paolo debuted at the Rome Festival of Rome as Alfredo in LA TRAVIATA, and began his career in Italy and Europe like Pinkerton in MADAMA BUTTERFLY and Mario Cavaradossi in TOSCA. In this role he debuted internationally at the State Opera Theater of Tbilisi in Georgia in a tour organized by the Italian Foreign Ministry, with the best Italian Opera talents. Selected from LEONCAVALLOFESTIVAL to sing the role of Canio in PAGLIACCI for the 150th Leoncavallo’s Anniversary, in the following years he played Mario Cavaradossi in TOSCA in the Teatro Lirico Europeo Italian Tour in Palermo, Catania, Agrigento, Piacenza, Genoa. In 2016 he performed in various Concerts and Opera Gala, including the Three Tenors Concert in Piazza del Mercato in Siena, The Opera Gala in Silicon Valley in Palo Alto (USA) and Jubilaeums Italienisches Konzert in Seesen (Germany).
In 2015, among others, he sang in the New Year's Concert with the Deutsche Kammerakademie Orchester in Neuss - Dusseldorf (Germany), in Italian Opera Gala in Summer Season of the Ancient Theatre for the Opera State in Plovdiv ( Bulgaria) and in a Recital of Opera Arias and Italian Lieder for the International Festival of Chamber Music JulitaFestivalen in Sweden, getting a great success. Also sang Mario Cavaradossi in TOSCA for the Casamari Abbey Opera Festival.

Turiddu in Mascagni’s CAVALLERIA RUSTICANA (2013 MILAN Auditorium with LaVerdi and 2011 European tour of the Opera House) Pollione in Bellini’s NORMA (2013 BUENOS AIRES, directed by Louis Désiré) Canio in Leoncavallo's PAGLIACCI (2007 Summer Season of Teatro Goldoni of Livorno and Leoncavallo Festival) Tenor Solo in Rossini’s PETITE MESSE SOLENNELLE (2013 Bologna Festival, Casale Monferrato FESTIVAL LUOGHI IMMAGINARI) Manrico in Verdi's IL TROVATORE (2012-13 Circuito Teatri Emilia Romagna) Pinkerton in Puccini’s MADAMA BUTTERFLY (2012 Festival Terre Verdiane, Salsomaggiore Teatro Nuovo, Teatro Comunale di Lanciano, Molise Opera Festival) and especially Mario Cavaradossi in Puccini’s TOSCA (2009 Sferisterio Opera Macerata, 2010-2011 Theatre Royal The Hague, Opera Theatres in Rotterdam, Utrecht, Antwerp and on tour in Holland and Belgium, 2014 and 2015 Casamari Opera Festival). Performed also in the recovery of Rare Operas in main roles in MAMELI by Ruggero Leoncavallo in 2012 at Philarmonic Orchestra in Craiova - Romania and in Italy in Cuneo and Enna for the official celebrations of the 150th Anniversary of the Unification of Italy and in I NORMANNI A SALERNO by Temistocle Marzano in Politeama Theatre in Naples and the Oratory LE ULTIME SETTE PAROLE DI GESU’ SULLA CROCE by Filippo Marchetti for the Marchetti Festival in Camerino.
