Oleksandr Prytolyuk was born 1981 in the Ukraine and began his musical education in childhood with violin and piano lessons , followed by vocal studies at the Music Academy of Lviv(Ukraine) by Prof. T. Didyk and at the Musikhochschule Karlsruhe (Institute for Music Theater-Opera School)by Prof. M. Venuti. During his studies, he received several awards and scholarships: He was in2000 winner of the National Music Competition in Kiev “New Names ofUkraine”, also won in 2004 a scholarship from the Richard WagnerSociety, in 2005 and 2006 winner of the Opera Competition of theLudwigsburger Schlossfestspiele and the singing competition of thecultural Fund Baden.

As part of the master classes he worked with Hilde Zadek , BrigitteFassbaender and Mauro Augustini. He work also with the great Verdi-Baritone Giorgio Zancanaro at Verona.

Since 2006 member of the Opera Ensamble at the Staatstheater Darmstadt.  He sang hier with success important Roles of his Repertoire :Valentin(Faust), Papageno(Die Zauberflöte), Marcello(La Bohème),Posa(Don Carlo), Enrico Ashton(Lucia die Lammermoor), Donner(DasRheingold), Il Conte( Le Nozze di Figaro), Malatesta( Don Pasquale),  Gunther(Götterdämmerung), Silvio(I Pagliacci), Malatesta( DonPasquale), Chorèbe( Les Troyens), Belcore( L`Elisir d`amore),Giorgio Germont( La Traviata), Tambourmajor( Wozzeck), Marco( GianniSchicchi), Sharpless(Madama Butterfly) and other.

Mr. Prytolyuk meked with the great success shis Debut at the DeutscheOper Berlin as Chorèbe in” Les Troyens”-H.Berlioz with Roberto Alagna and Ildiko Komlosi as Stagepartner. He also sang at the Staatstheater Wiesbaden , Deutsche Oper Berlin, State Opera in Lviv, Bonn Opera, Staatsoper Hannover, German National Theatre Weimar, National Theatre Mannheim, State Theatre Hagen, State Theatre Regensburg.

Concerts in Germany, Ukraine, Poland, Spain, Italy, France, Netherlands and Switzerland.

He worked with conductors Stefan Blunier, Constantin Trinks, Gerd Albrecht, Ralf Weikert, Francesco di Mauro, Martin Lukas Meister, Lukas Beikircher, Ivan Repusic, JulienSalemkur, Elias Grandy, Will Humburg and Paul Daniel.

In the Season 2016/2017 his Repertoire includes important Roles like Guglielmo in „Cosí fan tutte“, Valentin in „Faust“, Wolfram in „Tannhäuser“
