Naroa Intxausti studied Piano and Voice with Inmaculada Martinez at the Music High School of Bilbao, finishing her studies with the highest marks. She has also completed her musical studies with the following languages: English, Italian, German (Advanced Level at the Official School of Languages), EGA (Advanced &nbspLevel of  Basque  Language) and French (Intermidiate  Level  at  the  Official School  of  Languages).She has received Master-Classes from: Teresa Berganza, Carlos Álvarez, Ana Luisa Chova, Enedina Lloris, Isabel Rey, Ana Mª Sánchez, Alejandro Zabala, Miguel Zanetti, Dalton Baldwin, Giancarlo del Monaco, Emilio Sagi.A winner of many prizes of International Contests, she devotes herself to opera, the symphonic repertoire and lied. She made her Oratorio debut with the Mass of the Coronation in 2000. Her operatic debut in 2003 took place with the opera Bastian and Bastiana, in Bastiana's role.Since then she has interpreted such works as Fidelio (Marzelline), Le Nozze di Figaro (Susana), La finta giardiniera (Sandrina), La Cenerentola (Clorinda), Carmen (Frasquita), Acis and Galatea (Galatea), Norma (Clotilde), Suor Angelica (Suor Genovieffa), La Tabernera del Puerto (Marola), El Retablo de Maese Pedro (Trujamán), 9. Sinfonie (Beethoven), Carmina Burana (Orff), Herminie (Arriaga), Réquiem (Fauré), Matthäus Passion, Kantate 51, Magnificat (Bach), Exsultate Iubilate, Regina Coeli 108 and 127 (Mozart).She has worked with conductors like Edmon Colomer, Adrian Leaper, Michael Guettler, Michael Hofstetter, Antoni Ros Marbà, Pedro Halffter, Christophe Rousset, Günter Neuhold, Marco Zambelli, Eduardo López Banzo or Florian Ludwig as well as stage directors like Giancarlo del Monaco, Peter Mussbach, Lluis Pasqual, Emilio Sagi, Nigel Lowery, Roman Hovenbitzer or Balázs Kovalik.She has sung with such orchestras as Bilbao Symphonic Orchestra, Vallés Symphonic Orchestra, Spanish Television Orchestra, Sevilla Symphonic Orchestra, Balears Symphonic Orchestra, Al Ayre Español, Deutsches Kammerorchester Berlin (DKO).She presented herself in Theaters like Gran Teatro del Liceu (Barcelona), Berliner Philharmonie, Konzerthaus Berlin, Teatro Maestranza (Sevilla), OLBE – ABAO, Teatro Euskalduna (Bilbao), Palau de la Musica Catalana, Auditori (Barcelona), Teatro Monumental (Madrid), Teatro Arriaga (Bilbao), Teatro Baluarte (Pamplona), Auditori de Palma de Mallorca, Castell del Bellver (Mallorca), Teatro Gayarre (Pamplona)...She has participated with the role of “Mizi” at the Premiere in Spain of the Opera Der Ferne Klang (F. Schreker), in the Maestranza Theater, in the production of the Staatsoper unter den Linden, conducted by maestro Halffter.She was engaged for the project “ Der Liebestrank “ with the Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg (Berlin). She sang Dardanus (Rameau) in Crete (Greece) in a concert version.She made a last minute subtitution in Giessen for the role of Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro, with such a great success that she was also offered to sing La Bohème (Musetta) and Acis and Galatea (Galatea) in the same Theater.Since 2012-2013 Naroa Intxausti is a soloist of the Stadttheater Giessen where she sings: Der Freischütz (Ännchen), Agrippina (Poppea), Riccardo I (Berengera), Idomeneo (Ilia), La Clemenza di Tito (Servilia), La Conquista di Granata (Zulema), Linda di Chamounix (Linda), La Dame  blanche (Anna), Kehraus um Sankt Stephan (Maria), Mirandolina (Hortensia), Victoria und ihr Husar (Lia San), Kommilitonen (Zhou), Tanz auf dem Pulverfass (Ivette), La Battaglia di Legnano (Imelda), Oberto (Imelda). And in the Sinfonic repertoire: Exsultate iubilate, Die Jahreszeiten (Hanne), Hodie (Williams), Oratorio de Noel (Saint Saens), Te Deum (Charpentier), Elias, Wie der Hirsch schreit, Vom Himmel hoch, Athalia, Ave maris stella (Mendelssohn), H-Moll Messe (Bach), In furore iustissimae irae (Vivaldi) and Lauda per la natività (Respighi).She also sang Idomeneo (Ilia) at the Schwetziger Festspiele and Kommilitonen (Zhou) at the Bremerhaven Theatre. She has recently recorded the opera Oberto with Oehms, conducted by Michael Hofstetter.In February she made her Debut at the Alte Oper Frankfurt with the Messiah (Haendel).She works as a freelancer actually.  Next season she will be Donna Anna at Stadttheater Giessen.
