Bio

MIRCO ROVERELLI, received his diploma with honors in piano with Maestro Stefano Cucci from the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome, where he also studied composition.
He then followed the advanced course held by Maestro S. Perticaroli at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in 1995, graduating with highest honors.
He had the first affirmation to only 9 years winning the second prize at the "Italian Piano Competition". " Since then he has won numerous awards in various national and international competitions.
He debuted in solo recital at the age of 12 and since then has performed as soloist with orchestras in major Italian cities.
Abroad has performed in prestigious concert halls including the Queen's Hall in Edinburgh, the Salon Dorado of the Colon Theater in Buenos Aires, La Chatedral Wells in England, the Liszt Museum in Budapest
In addition to the solo, for a decade he devoted himself actively to the collaboration in the symphonic and choral repertoire.
Collaborate with Rai Radio 3 and has accompanied singers of international renown: J. Carreras, F. Bonisolli, A. Rinaldi, R. Aronica, J Kauffman, A.Netrebko, J.Didonato,F.M.Capitanucci, He has recorded for the National radio RAI-Radio 3 selections from Carmen with B. Baglioni and Falstaff with G.Taddei, F. Cossotto, A. Romero and J. Perry.
Since 1998 he is vocal coach at the National Academy of Santa Cecilia, and conductor assistent for the piano rehearsals has worked with many great conductors including: W. Sawallisch, J. Tate, Claudio Abbado, G. Sinopoli, M.W. Chung, G. Pretre, D. Oren, A. Pappano, and many others.
He was the pianist for the concert given by the great baritone Leo Nucci in Spoleto for his 40-year career.
In December 2010 he made his debut as conductor, and since that time he has performed many opera productions in Italy and Europe including Tosca, Carmen, Barber of Seville and symphonic and opera concerts. very important was his participation at the Gabala Festival in Azerbaijan, where he was the conductor of the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra

In the Next Summer, will be the Conductor for Carmen's production at the prestigious Mythos Opera Festival in the spectacular setting of the Greek theater in Syracuse (Sicily).

The upcoming commitments include concerts and the direction of an opera (first absolute) of which a DVD will be made
