Bio


Born in Oldenburg, Germany, the pianist Martina Lenton received her first piano lessons with her father in Ibiza, Spain. In 2008 she was accepted at the "Conservatorio Superior de Música de Salamanca", with main instrument Piano with Sophia Hase, specializing as well in Vocal Accompaniment with Javier San Miguel. She finished her studies in 2013 with a Diploma in Piano and Vocal Accompaniment.

From 2013 to 2015 she completed her Master of Music "Liedgestaltung" with Prof. Burkhard Kehring at the Hochschule fdür Musik und Theater Hamburg, Germany.

She has received prizes in international competitions, as soloist and as accompanist. These prizes include "Premi Ciutat de Carlet", "Juventudes Musicales de Sóller", and "Gustav Mahler Wettbewerb" for Liedduos, among others.

She has performed in Spain, Germany, Porugal and France

Private lessons with Stanislav Pchekin, Daniel del Piano and Alexandre Kandelaki, as well as Masterclasses with Edith Fischer, Julie Kaufmann, Boris Bermann and Aquiles Delle Vigne complemented her musical education.

Currently, she is living in Hamburg, Germany, working as repetiteur at MenschMusik e.V., and perforiming with different duos and chamber groups.

She is fluent in German, English, Spanish, Catalan and Portuguese, and has a good understanding of French and Italian.
