MARTINA BORTOLOTTI – SOPRANO

Is loved by her public for the warm voice and her intense performances.
She received a degree in languages at Marcelline Institut in Bolzano and studied French at the Université Catholique de l’Ouest in Angers, France.

She graduated in “Opera Singing” at the Conservatory “Giuseppe Verdi” of Milan under the guidance of Prof. Rita Orlandi Malaspina and in “Vocal Chamber Music” with the maximum of the ballots under the guidance of prof. Daniela Uccello.
Miss Bortolotti has attended Masterclasses with Teresa Berganza, Raina Kabaiwanska, Sara Mingardo, Helmut Deutsch, Erik Battaglia, René Clemencic, Gustav Kuhn, Dalton Baldwin and Brigitte Fassbaender.
Winner of a Scholarship at the Academy of Teatro alla Scala of Milan and of “Erasmus”Scholarship at the “Hochschule Für Musik” of Munich in Germany (prof.ssa Maria de Francesca Cavazza and Prof. Helmut Deutsch). Miss Bortolotti speaks Italian (mother tongue), German (mother tongue), English, French and a bit of Spanish.

She holds a Diploma of Distinguished Merit at the International Competition of Chamber Music Palma d’Oro.
1.Prize with 100/100 at the International Competition “Paul Harris 2005” in Milan.
1. Prize at International Competition “New Puccini Voices Competition” in Innsbruck – Vienna (Austria).
Finalist at the International "Concorso Caruso" competition in Milan, at the International Competition "Citta’ di Merano", and at the International Competition " Accademia di Alto perfezionamento dell’Arena di Verona".

Miss Bortolotti was invited from the Theater of Suncheon City in South-Korea to perform La Bohème as Mimí with MºChung Gab Gyun as conductor.
She also possesses assets in the field of sacred and chamber music :
She collaborates with Festival di Musica Sacra e Contemporane in Bolzano and Trento, with Ensemble Amarida, Haydn Orchestra, the Arteviva Orchestra Milan and the ensemble “Archi della Scala” of Milan, with which she has executed among other things the Requiem, The Mass KV275 and the “Vespri solenni de confessore” of W.A.Mozart, Stabat Mater of Boccherini, Rossini and Pergolesi, Weihnachtsoratorium from Bach.

She sang the solopart of of Beethoven's 9th Symphony at Teatro Comunale in Vicenza, at Teatro della Fortuna in Fano, at Teatro Grande in Brescia and In the Basilica of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan for EXPO 2015 with the Orchestra Rossini and withOrchestra Filarmonica Italiana and Coro  di Verona.
Soloist in Deutsche Requiem of Brahms with Maestro Gustav Kuhn at Auditorium in Trento with Haydn Orchestra and at The Brahms Festival in Wroclaw (Poland).
She sang Recitals in Moscow with Maestro Alexej Lukovnikov at the piano.

Miss Bortolotti was invited to sing with Orchestra Celibidache and perform12 concerts in Beijing (China) in China National Museum Theatre, Tijanjin: Concert Hall and the Xuzhou: Concert Hall.
She has also been on tour in Uruguay where she sang at Teatro del SODRE in Montevideo.
She has taken part in Recordings for the Bayerische Rundfunk in Munich, Sky Classica, Radio Rai 3 Suite and La Barcaccia in Italy.

Miss Bortolotti gave Liederabends in Germany, between which, the execution of the Cycle “Dass wir uns in dir begegnen” (Hannover, Braunschweig and Wolfenbüttel) of composer H.W. Plate of which she has sung also the role of Laura in the world premiere of the Opera “Der Misogyne” on a drama of Lessing, in occasion of the Lessingfestival ( Lessingtheater  Wolfenbüttel and Stadttheatre of Wolfsburg).
She performed lyrics of the contemporary composers like "Cericola" of which she has sung also the role of the Fairy in his Opera “Pinocchio” .
She also took part in works like “Lacrime di Geremia” of the italian Composer Carlo Galante at MITO Festival in Milan and on tour.
Miss Bortolotti was invited to the United States by Smithsonian American Art Museum of Washington DC to perform in it’s "Steinway Series concerts". Whilst in the States she gave a concert for the Public Library in New York.
As a member of the Academy of Montegral Ensemble she took part in the productions of Walküre, Rheingold and Götterdämmerung of Tiroler Festspiele in Erl Austria and in Shanghai in China under Maestro Gustav Kuhn in the roles of Freia, Gerhilde and Woglinde in summer 2017/2018.

Last works include of Beethoven's 9th Symphony in Milan with Maestro Donato Renzetti with Pomeriggi Musicali and Cavalleria Rusticana in Teatro Sociale Bellinzona (Switzerland), Respighi's operas La Campana Sommersa and La Bella Dormente at Teatro Lirico di Cagliari under the baton of Maestro Donato Renzetti, the ninth Symphony of Beethoven at Cairo Opera House with Cairo Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Ahmed El Saedi.
She appeared in the movie “Un Amore Cosi Grande” (February 2018) in collaboration with Arena di Verona where she will perform arias from Vivaldi.
Miss Bortolotti also took part in the Merry Widow of Lehàr in Gran Teatro La Fenice in Venice in 2018.

During this Christmas Miss Bortolotti will appear at the Altmark Festspiele, on the 1st and 2nd of December, in the spectacular success "Opera on Ice Festival" at the Royal Opera House of Muscat on the 20th, 21st and 22nd of December. 
To end the year in pure splendour she will sing together with the Chamber Orchestra Camerata of Wroklaw in Aula Leopoldina, Bresslau under the baton of Dir. Jan Pogany, on the 31st of December.

A recording made by NAXOS, in Sofia with the Sofia Philharmonic of Operetta ( dir. Dario Salvi ), awaits in between the 7th and the 13th of January 2019 . It's the operetta by J. Strauss, "Die Blindekuh" where Miss Bortolotti is going to sing the leading role of Waldine, and on the 10th of January she will join the same recording crew in a concert of "Die Blindekuh"in the Bulgaria Hall.
