Born in 1987 in Munich, the Bass-Baritone made his first stage experiences
as a Member of the Tölzer Boys Choir, where he had
Numerous appearances including the Salzburg Festival and
as the second boy in Mozart's Magic Flute in Helsinki.

In 2006 he already sang the Papageno in the Magic Flute, 2011 in
The Puccini operas "Tosca" the Sagrestano and in "Edgar"
Gualtiero in a production of the Opera Incognita.

In January 2013 Martin Summer sang the title role in Mozart's
"Le nozze di Figaro" in Salzburg and in May the Colline in "La Bohème" in Munich.

He also appeared in the Summer of 2013 as Azarias in Britten's Burning Fiery Furnace at the Mattseer Stiftssommer.

Summer was also part of the Opera Incognita in "The Merry Widow", "Hansel and Gretel "," Stiffelio "and" Rienzi ".
Furthermore he was a soloist in Handel 's Messiah and Haydn' s Creation in
Munich, as well as in the Salzburg Cathedral and the Franciscan Church in Salzburg.

Since 2008 he has been studying at the Mozarteum in Salzburg with Prof. Heiner Hopfner, with Prof. Barbara Bonney and currently with Prof. Christoph Strehl.

He has also attended master classes with Thomas Moser and Harald Stamm.
