After studying law, Marilyn Clément began taking singing lessons with Brian Parsons at the CNSM of Lyon and Guildhall School of Music of London.

She was later admitted in the Mâcon National Academy, in the class of Jan-Marc Bruin, tenor, and professor in Opernstudio of Bayerische Staatsoper (Munich) where she soon obtained the Gold Medal.

She also took part in master-classes, in particular with Régine Crespin and Leontina Vaduva. Under the direction of song conductors such as Laurent Pillot ( Los Angeles, Munich ), Kate de Marchen ( Bonn ), Marie-Cécile Bertheau ( Lausanne ), Frédéric Rubay and Hélène Blanic she enjoyed various and essential masterclasses.

Miss Clément has sung many roles in different productions in France, Poland, Belgium and The Netherlands: “Les Contes d’Hoffmann”-Offenbach ( Olympia, Giulietta and Antonia ) 2004;  “Don Pasquale”- Donizetti (Norina) 2006/2007  Holland, Belgium ;“Cosi fan tutte” -Mozart (Fiodiligi) 2008; “Il barbiere di Siviglia” -Rossini (Rosina) 2008/2009 Mâcon and Sabratha (Lybia), conductor Mark Foster;“Aïda”- Verdi (Aïda) 2010, Festival “Estivales of Brou” France, conductor Jean-Marie Curti; “Turandot”- Puccini Lyon Opera, France (Liù); “Tosca”- Puccini July Estivales of Brou, France (Floria Tosca), Conductor Laurent Touche;  “Madama Butterfly” (Butterfly, her favorite part) Marseille, France. 

She also enjoys giving concerts both in France and abroad through recitals, and oratorios like the Creation of Stabat Mater of Theodore Gouvy in the “Basilique of Fourviere”, Lyon (France), with Choir and Orchestra, Director Jean-Philippe Dubor; Symphony nr.8 - Mahler (2015) with the Europe Musicians and (2016) Carmina Burana with the Choir and Orchestra of the Alexandria B., conductor Hisham Gabr.

Other roles that Miss Clément has incarnated with great success are; Dido ("Dido and Aeneas" - Purcell) in 2015, Norma ( "Norma"-Bellini), Marguerite ( "Faust" -Gounod) in 2016 and 2017 in Germany and the Netherlands and Aïda ( "Aïda" - Verdi) in 2017 in France, Orléans. 

In 2018 she sings the principal role again in Puccinis opera "Madama Butterfly" in France, conducted by Mr. Andrei Chevtchouk and in Germany with conductor Adi Bar.

Her voice has, in the last few years, evolved into a Spinto soprano with an utterly charming velvety tone.
She’s also an author and has already written several French mélodies like L’Echarpe”, “Un Ange reste”, “Rendez-vous" - Robert Martin Editions.
