Born in Latina, Italy Maria Rosaria Lopalco completed her studies at the Ottorino Respighi Conservatory,under professor Carlo Tuand. Further more she attended Masterclasses by famous sopranos like Mietta Sighele, (2008) Renata Scotto, (2009) in Academia di Santa Cecilia and June Anderson (2013). Since 2016 she is working with Ms Gertrud Ottenthal, in Vienna.
She also participates regularly in concert activities for different Italian theatres and cultural associations receiving flattering reviews and critics.
During the past years, Ms. Lopalco won several National and International singing competitions such as:
 April 2008, "Beniamino Gigli" Prize for Best Performer 5th "Piergiorgio Frassati" National Competition. November 2008, 1st prize "Giacomo Lauri Volpi" Competition for "Promising Young Opera Singer". May 2009, Special Prize MusicaRivaFestival "Riccardo Zandonai" International Competition. October 2009, 3rd prize "Ritorna Vincitor" International Competition of Herculaneum. November 2009, Winner of International Singing Competition Verona Philharmonic Theatre and the International Institute for Opera and Poetry in collaboration with UNESCO and Arena di Verona Foundation. September 2010 2nd prize and Audience Award 17th Maria Caniglia International Singing Competition. December 2010 finalist in the "Pavarotti Competition for Young Singers" Rotary Club International. March 2013 Special prize best Soprano International Competition Città di Bologna. May 2013 Special prize “Tiroler Fespiele” Riccardo Zandonai" International Competition


2010: She sang the Soprano Voice of "Stabat Mater" by Pergolesi conducted by Pietro Mianiti at the San Carlo Theatre of Naples.
2010: Vannella Lo Frate Nnamurato” by Pergolesi, directed by Amelia Felle and conducted by Gennaro Cappabianca in the Pergolesi Anthology "Pergolesi nacquit et la verité fut connue in Herculaneum.
2010: Serpina "La Serva Padrona" by Pergolesi, directed by Hirofumi Yoshida
2010: Debut as Musetta, in La Boheme by G.Puccini, in Verona Philharmonic Theatre directed by Ivan Stefanutti and conducted by Andrea Battistoni.
2011: Juliette in the opera Romeo et Juliette by Ch.Gounod Theatres of Piacenza, Modena and Bolzano, directed by Manfred Schweigkofler and produced by Ives Abel.
2013: Rosina in Il Barbiere di Siviglia by G.Paisiello Theatre of Sulmona
2013: Violetta in LaTraviata by G. Verdi Theatre of Lumezzane
201: Anna in “Nabucco” by G.Verdi Tiroler Festspiele of Erl by Gustav Kuhn.
2015: Papagena in “Die Zäuberflöte” by W.A. Mozart at the Tiroler Festspiele of Erl, conducted by Tito Ceccherini.
