After graduating in 2005 at Padova Conservatory of Music "C. Pollini", Marco Simionato obtained in 2011 a master's degree with hight honors, in Musicology, at the University of Padua with a thesis on the circulation of piano repertoire in Italy in the nineteenth century (The piano culture in Veneto between the end of the Republic and the Austrian period, prof. S.Durante). Furthermore he attended in 2012 piano and chamber music masteclasses held by Marian Mika and Mathias Allin.

He obtained in 2015 a degree in Repètitèur-piano accompaniment at the Conservatory of Music "G. Tartini" in Trieste with hight honors. In 2016 he attended the professional qualification course for substitute pianist at the Teatro Lirico Sperimentale of Spoleto "A. Belli", collaborating in the staging of Un ballo in maschera (G. Verdi).

He cooperated with Antonio Fogliani and Federico Longo as rehearsal accompanist and stage assistant for the seasons 2014 and 2015 at Rossini in Wildbad - Bel Canto Opera Festival (Germany) in the staging of Il viaggio a Reims, Adelaide di Borgogna, Bianca e Falliero by G.Rossini and the first performance in modern times of Il vespro siciliano by P. T. von Lindpaintner.  

During the festival he has accompanied the masterclass held by Raul Giménez and Lorenzo Regazzo and concerts with soloists of the orchestra Virtuosi Brunensis.
Piano teacher and accompanist in various vocal and instrumental masterclasses, since 2017 he is accompanist of instrument classes at the Conservatory of Music "B. Marcello" in Venice.
