The young mezzo-soprano Manon Blanc-Delsalle discovered her passion for opera and classical musical at an early on, began music and tap dance classes at the age of four, and continued her musical instruction with the children‘s choir program at the conservatory of Lyon.

Following high school, Blanc-Delsalle began her voice studies as an undergraduate student at the Lyon, and later Mâcon conservatories (with Jan-Marc Bruin), and studied Musicology in Lyon and as an Erasmus student in Berlin (Humboldt University). During that time she continued to perform in several semi-professional choirs in Lyon and Berlin. Manon studied voice at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln, with Martin Bruns and Brigitte Lindner, and graduated in 2016 with a Master's Degree in opera performance with distinction. During her studies in Cologne, she gained stage experience through opera productions at school as well as a member of the Kammeroper Köln.

She debuted at the Aachen opera house in 2012 in the title role of Ravel's l'enfant et les sortilèges, and returned in 2014 as Ramiro in Mozart's la finta giardiniera. From 2014-2016 she was a member of the young artist program Opernstudio Niederrhein at the opera house Krefeld/Mönchengladbach, performed numerous roles on the main stage such as La Muse/Niklausse in Offenbach's “Les contes d'Hoffmann”, Berta in Rossini's “Il barbiere di Siviglia“, and sang in many concerts.

Blanc-Delsalle won the second price at the chamber music competition Barmenia in Wuppertal 2012, as well as scholarships from the Hugo Wolf Akademie, Wagnerverband Wuppertal, and LiveMusicNow Köln (Yehudi Menuhin Foundation). Through productions with La Ménagerie in Berlin and the LiteraturOper Köln, Manon discovered her passion for interdisciplinary projects and is currently working on her Master's degree in contemporary music at the HfMT Köln with David Smeyers and Kai Wessel. She takes private lessons with famous teacher Neil Semers, who teaches the best singers all around the world including star Barbara Hannigan.

As a guest, Manon performs regularly at the Bonn opera house where she has sung Kuchtìk in Dvorặk's Rusalka and Nireno in Händel's Giulio Cesare in the past reasons, and will return in 2017/18 as Mercedes in G. Bizet's Carmen. She appears regularly with the Musikalische Komödie Leipzig having sung the prince Orlowski in J. Strauss' “Die Fledermaus”, as well as Kate in a new german version of Gilbert and Sullivan's “The pirates of Penzance”. Her concert and oratorio repertoire embraces works from the Baroque to the contemporary. She is currently preparing recitals with her duo partner, pianist Eri Uchino, and writing the libretto to an opera by the joung armenian composer Andranik Fatalov. With her combination of dance, language, and writing skills, Manon Blanc-Delsalle is a unique, versatile artist. Her “unaffected acting” (Rheinische Post) combined with her “dark, beautifully sustained” (theaterpur),“very flexible” (General Anzeiger) voice and refined technique have been acclaimed by the press since her first debuts
