Bio


Director and acting teacher, he has been collaborating for more than twenty years with the Fondazione Teatro di Pisa, where he has followed training projects for a long time.
As a teacher he has collaborated with many national and international professors including Peter Clough (Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London), Agustì Humet (Institut del teatre, Barcelona).
For several years he has been teaching acting in the Opera Studio laboratories.
He made his debut in opera direction at the Teatro Verdi in Pisa, in the 2012/13 season, with the first of "Falcone and Borsellino" by Antonio Fortunato. "Si camminava Sull'Arno" by Marco Simoni (2013/14) and "Il Convitato di Pietra" by Dargomyžskij (Season 2014/15).
He signed "Simon Boccanegra" of Verdi for the opening of the 2015/16 season . In the same season he directed "Il Convitato di Pietra" by Giovanni Pacini and the diptych by Bruno Coli, from Poe, "The Tell-Tale Heart and The Angel of The Odd" with whom he was invited to participate in the  Armel Opera Festival in Budapest obtaining more than positive opinions from critics and the public. In the 2016/17 season, again for the Teatro Verdi in Pisa, he directed the Hindemith / Puccini triptych ("Sancta Susanna, Suor Angelica, Gianni Schicchi") and "Un cappello di paglia di Firenze" by Nino Rota, the result of the LTL Opera Studio Project . He is currently assisting Stefano Vizioli, artistic director of the Teatro di Pisa, and is preparing for November 2018 "Moses in Egitto" by Rossini.
