With a warm and sparkling sound the danish soprano Lise Bech Bendix sings both oratorios, Lieder and opera roles with a great presence and emotion.

The danish soprano Lise Bech Bendix graduated from the highly estimated Advanced
Postgraduate Studies of Singing – Solistklassen -in the fall of 2014 from The
Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus. Already in the summer that year Lise had signed
a soloist contract with The Danish National Opera - Den Jyske Opera - to sing the
leading female role in their new opera production for children ”At the end of
the tunnel” – “For enden af tunnellen”.

In 2007 she reached the final round of the danish/norwegian part of Yamaha's
international singing competition. At that time she had her maiden name Lise
Bech Christensen.

As soprano soloist Lise Bech Bendix has a wide repertoire which contains
a great number of Lieder and oratorios and operas. As a soloist in oratorios
Lise often sings concerts all over Denmark.

She have sung the soprano parts of: Bach's Christmas oratorio, Bach's St.
John's passion, Bach's St. Matthew passion, Dvorak's Te Deum, Dvorak's Mass in D, Brams'

as several Bach cantatas.

The experience on stage as well as the art of acting and being
a soloist in operas, operettas and classical musicals Lise already has from early years. Leading parts as Magnolia in Showboat, Anastasia in Die Czardasfürstin, Maria in The Sound of Music and many others had Lise as a young talented amateur song at big open-air music theater productions.

During her education at The Royal Academy of Music she gained even more stage experience by singing both big and smaller parts in operas in and outside the academy. Among the roles was 1. And 2. Lady in The Magic Flute and Virtu and Pallas Athene in The Coronation of Poppea.

Through her song to be able to tell a story and open a door for the audience
into the world of music and great feelings is a big inspiration as well as a
great goal for Lise Bech Bendix.
