Curriculum vitae for Linnéa Villén, Denmark. Linnéa Villén, was born in Denmark in 1981 and began her musical career at the age of four on the violin and later, at the age of 11, the flute. She has since the year 2003 studied the flute.  The first Four years with Professor Henrik Svitzer, Odense and Copenhagen, six months with Angela Firkins, Lübeck and one year with Toke Lund Christiansen, Copenhagen. Linnéa received in 2009 several scholarships from the Royal Danish Academy of Music to go to France and that made it possible to study 6 months with Mr. Vincent Lucas , solo flutist in Orchestra de Paris, and Pierre Dumail, piccolo flutist in The Bastille Opera. In April 2006 Linnéa attended the international competition “The winner of Belgrade”. She was rewarded for the best performance of Serbian composer’s piece ,Milana Stojadinovic-Milic: Dream. Linnéa played solo flute in Ravels exiting opera “L’Enfant et les sortileges”, in the Mozart piano concerto number 25 in C-major. Schubert’s symphony number. 8. and in Bartoks Concerto for orchestra. Linnéa played with the professional ensemble “Randers kammerorkester” both as solo- and 2. Nd. flute. She has also been assisting in The Danish Radio symphony orchestra, The Royal Danish Orchestra ( Opera ), Odense and Sønderborg Symphony Orchestra. Linnéa attended Master classes with Robert Dick, US; Philippe Bernold, FR; Cecilie Løken, SE; Laura Barron, US  and lessons with Ulla Miilmann, DK, Pierre-Yves Artaud, FR; Andras Adorjan, Germany. Linnéa is an active chambermusician, with different chambergroups such as “Opus Zoo” – woodwindquintet, “Faun” – trio for harp, viola and flute and duo Villén/Sjølin – flute and guitar. Toke Lund Christiansen recently said about Linnéa: “There is no doubt in my mind, that Linnéa will belong to the inner circle of our best orchestra- and chamber musicians in the years to come.” -----   Personal information: Born 4.
