«(…) The whole attention was focused on the soprano of Karina Skrzeszewska. The surname is impossible to pronounce but the voice is wonderful. The singer became the star of the evening. Enveloped in a blood-red dress she sung the aria of Lucia very intensely so that even people coughing in the audience did not manage to distract her. The audience rewarded her with a long applause.»
Brabants Dagblad (2017)
«Applaud for the role of Mary should be directed to Karina Skrzeszewska. One can safely say that the second part of the opera belongs only to her because it is the time when she fully presents her vocal talent. Her emotions are so true that one has the impr ession they are tangible. Also in this part of “Maria” one can listen to her special, charming and full of lyricism prayer performed together with the choir.»
Alan Misiewicz, Wyborcza Daily (2017)
«Karina Skrzeszewska dominated actually the whole performance. Focused and fully controlling the v oic e s h e im p r e s s e d t h e a u die n c e b y h e r w a r m tim b r e , flu e n t p h r a sin g a n d w o n d e r f ul pia n o s , especially in the high register. The voice of Karina was also very emotional . She perfectly shaped and modulated sounds. In the famous confrontation scene when addressing Elisabetta “Figlia impura di Bolena”, thanks to her one could feel thrill despite the statics… To recapitulate - “Maria Stuarda” with Karina Skrzeszewska is the must - see (and obligatory to listen to)!»
