Bio


Kaitrin Cunningham, a native of Spokane, earned her Bachelor of Arts from Gonzaga University, where she won the President's Competition and performed the role of Venus in John Blow's "Venus and Adonis." She earned her Master's Degree at the University of Arizona, winning the Amelia Rieman Opera Competition and performing in productions of "La Traviata," "La Clemenza di Tito," and "The Magic Flute." She made her European debut in Novafeltria, Italy, in Puccini's "La Rondine." In Vienna, Austria, where she currently resides, she has performed in productions of "Fidelio" and "Le Nozze di Figaro." Since June she has been singing with the Arnold Schönberg Chor, performing chorus work and small solos at the Theater an der Wien opera house and performing in Austria and abroad, working with such renowned artists as Achim Freyer, René Jacobs, Placido Domingo, and Peter Konwitschny.
