José Pazos
made his musical studies between Spain and France as well as he was finishing
his engineering studies in Spain.



He started
working as professional singer in Tours and later in Geneva where he actually
lives.



In 2003 he
makes his debut in a principal role as Alfredo in La Traviata with the
well-known Bass-Baritone Rubén Amoretti in the St.Moritz Opernfestival.



After that
he will sing wonderful roles as Faust (title role) by Gounod, Verdi Requiem, Alfredo
in La Traviata, Misa Criolla, Don José in Carmen, Ernesto
in Don Pasquale, Stabat Mater by Dvorak, Roberto in
Le Villi, Rossini’s Stabat Mater, Canio in I
Pagliacci, Werther (title role), Rodolfo in
La Bohème, Roméo in Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette, Alfredd
in Fledermaus, Misa di Gloria by Puccini, Baron Cascade
in Die Lustige Witwe, Des Grieux in  Massenet’s Manon, Dom
Sébastien, Roi de Portugal (title role), Edgardo
in Lucia di Lammermoor.



His last
engagments this season were Tony in West Side Story and Don José in Bizet’s
Carmen in Switzerland



His next
engagements are a concert with Opera-gala in Madrid retransmitted
live by Radio Classica in Spain and recorded for La2 (spanish tv) with
Violetta Urmana, Vladimir Chernov and the RTVE
Orchestre & Chorus, followed by The
Sailor / Eneas in Purcell's Dido & Eneas, Ernesto in Don Pasquale both in
Geneva as well as the Petite Messe Solennelle and Nemorino
in L’elisir d’amore at the BFM in Geneva.
