Baritone John-Andrew Fernandez has appeared on opera and concert stages across the USA, Asia and Europe. Recent engagements include the role of Damaso in Noli Me Tangere at the Kennedy Center, Washington, D.C., and at the National Theater of the Philippines, Manila, excerpts from Die tote Stadt with the Philadelphia Orchestra, Marcello in La Bohème with the Missouri Symphony, appearances at the Martina Arroyo Gala NYC, and on USA national television for the Kennedy Center Awards, Prospero in La Tempesta at the Teatro Avvaloranti, Italy, Silvio in I Pagliacci with Knoxville Opera, Harlekin in Ariadne auf Naxos for Winter Opera St. Louis, and Falke in Die Fledermaus for Geneva Opera. Upcoming highlights include Carmina Burana at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, the role of Tajomaru in the world premier of In a Grove, Schubert’s Die schöne Müllerin with the Vartan Chamber Series, recitals with the Golden Age Series, the Quietside Chamber Music Festival and Operafest Vermont and a gala performance for Princess Katerina de Silva.
