Soprano Jennifer Lindshield has been described as having a voice with &ldquogreat communicative color”. A rising soprano quickly gaining momentum in both Europe and the United States, Ms. Lindshield brings a rich, unique timbre and individual interpretations to her performances. The 2015/16 season brings her role debut as Diva in SOAP with performances in Berlin and the Israeli Opera House. She will continue her role in the upcoming show WET with performances in Essen, Hannover, Bad Oeynhausen, Münster, and Munich throughout the 2016/17 season. Other performances this season include Kurt Weill: The Journey to America in Berlin, Paris and New York. Recent past engagements include the role of Lia in Debussy's L'enfant prodigue and a staged version of Dvorak’s Biblische Lieder with Sakrale Oper Berlin. She was the soprano soloist in Handel's Messiah and Bach's St. Matthew's Passion at the Messiah Festival of the Arts in Lindsborg, Kansas and she made her Paris debut with her program Vox Amerika at the Mona Bismarck American Center. An advocate of American composers, Ms. Lindshield brings the American song repertoire to international audiences.  Other recent engagements include the role of Erste Dame in Die Zauberflöte with the Bellingham Music Festival, Fanny Legrand in Massenet's Sapho and the title role in Puccini's Suor Angelica with Opera Oggi NY, The Bard Laid Bare with American Opera Projects, and she made her Carnegie Hall debut with the role of Donna Anna in Don Giovanni with Pacific Opera. On the concert stage, she was the soprano soloist in Mozart's Great Mass in C minor with the Wichita Chamber Chorale, Pergolesi's Stabat Mater at St. Gregory the Great NYC, and in Zemlinsky's Maiblumen blühten überall with the internationally recognized chamber ensemble, Les Alchimistes Berlin. Notable recognitions include the Arizona Opera Young Artist scholarship award and regional finalist in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions. She performed in the Aspen Music Festival as both a violinist in the Sinfonietta and as a soprano with the Aspen Opera Theatre Center. Ms. Lindshield holds degrees in Voice and Violin Performance from Wichita State University and in Opera Performance from Arizona State University. Notable conductors with whom she has worked include Michael Palmer, James Conlon, Julius Rudel, and Joel Revzen. Directors with whom she has worked include Ed Berkeley, Isabel Milensky, Garnett Bruce and Marie King.
