Born in France, he spent his youth in Gabon, Africa.

At the age of sixteen, he attended a school year in the United States, where he learned about Operas and Musicals.

Then,  his family moved to Marseille where he studied at the Conservatory (CNR) while attending the University of Art History.

From this period in Marseille, Jean-Christophe will keep the precious advices and the supports of great personalities from the Operatic world such as Montserrat Caballe and François Le Roux.

After he graduated in 2007, he won the First Prize at the European Ravel-Granados Concourse and at the Leopold Bellan Foundation.

In September 2009, the world known Tenor José Cura chose him for his master- class at the Opera National of  Nancy.

Jean-Christophe always keep improving his vocal technic, following now  the teaching of Susan McCulloch, professor at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.

His deep commitment into the preparation of his parts makes him works with great artists like Elizabeth Cooper or Antoine Palloc.

Regularly chosen to be part of co-productions, of tours, nationals and internationals, Jean-Christophe did already perform in more than fifteen countries.

He was  part of Peter Brook’s “A Magic Flute”, worldly acclaimed, until April 2012.

In 2013  he sang Tamino (Die Zauberflöte) Opéra de Nice (Dir. F. Deloche).

2013/14,  member of the Opera Studio (Strasbourg – Colmar) and followed the masterclasses of  Marie-Ange Todorovitch,  Jean-Philippe Lafont, and Umberto Finazzi (repetitor alla Scala).

He sung the lead role in Aladin et la lampe merveilleuse, Nino Rota, Pinocchio, Cavallari/Melozzi and La Colombe, Charles Gounod for the Strasbourg National Opera.

For the season 2014/15 he was part of Les Caprices de Marianne, Henri Sauget on tour in most of the Opera houses of France.

Last Season he sang Leandre in the Medecin Malgré lui, Charles Gounod at Saint etienne Opera and for the season 2016/2017 he is Marius in a lyric concert of Les Miserables on tour.
