Ingrida Gápová (soprano) was born in Slovakia.   Her musical education began at the age of six, with piano studies. In 1993 she took part in the Slovak folk-song competition, being awarded with second prize. Education continued at the Conservatory in Zilina (Slovakia) in the vocal class, and then at the Music Academy in Banska Bystrica. Then she pursued a graduate of Vocal and Acting Academy of Music. F. Nowowiejskiego in Bydgoszcz at Professor Hanna Michalak’s singing class. Despite her young age she has a broad repertoire in oratorios, cantatas and songs cycles.   She performs regularly in principal opera houses in Poland. For Opera Baltic (Gdansk) she sings the roles of Pamina, Susanna and Barbarina from "Die Zauberflöte" and “Le nozze di Figaro” by W. A. Mozart, Micaëla from “Carmen” by G. Bizet and Annina from “La Traviata” by G. Verdi.  At National Theatre Warsaw she performed the main role (SHE) in the world premiere of the opera “The Sudden Rain” by A. Nowak, Xenia from M. Mussorgsky’s "Borys Godunov" and Barbarina from W. A. Mozart's "Le nozze di Figaro" At Opera Nova Bydgoszcz, Gretel from E. Humperdinck's "Hansel und Gretel", Hanna from S. Moniuszko's "Haunted Manor" and Belinda from H. Purcell's "Dido and Aeneas". She recorded with Goldberg Baroque Ensemble the world premieres “Christmas Cantatas of 18th century Gdansk” (2010), “Lent Cantatas of 18th century Gdansk” (2011) and Johann Balthasar Christian Freisslich's "Passio Christi" (2012) released by Sarton records. This last work was nominated for the "Fryderyk Music awards 2013" in Poland.  Engagements for 2014/2015  includes: During Gdańsk Goldber festiwal 2 concerts: with Goldberg Baroque Ensemble 3 cantatas by Johann Teoderich Roemhildt with Georgian Sinfonietta Tblisi (Georgia) Johann Sebastian Bach – Cantata “Ich habe genung” BWV 82a, Johann Jeremias du Grain (+1756 Gdańsk) – Cantata “Herr nun lassest” Die Schöpfung (Gabriel, Eva) with Arthur Rubinstein Philharmonic Orchestra of Lodz (Poland) Pamina from Die Zauberflöte at State Opera Baltic in Poland.  Micaëla from Carmen at State Opera Baltic in Poland.    Engagements for 2015/2016 includes: Mahler symphony IV with The Warsaw National Philharmonic Orchestra (German tour), Mařenka from The Bartered Bride (Prodaná nevěsta) in National Moravian-Silesian Theatre in Ostrava (Czech Republic), J.S. Bach cantatas with Helsinki Baroque Orchestra (HEBO) in Finland, Concert tour in Finland with finish organist Risto Valtasaari
