Ina Kancheva was born in Sofia. She dedicated to Arts since the age of 6, when studying balet and touring around the world as a soloist with the famous children choir of The Bulgarian National Radio and TV. She graduated high school of Drama and Fine Arts. She has been studying opera singing since the age of 19 in the State Music Academy, Sofia. Followed scholarships for the European Opera Centre Manchester, Foundation Arena di Verona, Accademia Chiggiana in Siena, and Placido Domingo Centre of Perfection, Valencia. Ina took part in the master classes of Irina Gavrilovici, Montserrat Caballe, Raina Kabaivanska, Leo Nucci, Renato Bruson. She has studied with Anna Luisa Chova Alessandro Vitiello, Annette Goeres and is under the mentoring advices of Krassimira Stoyanova. Ina is laureate of many prestigious awards at national and international forums among which: Young Music Talents, Pancho Vladigerov, Musician of the Year 2002 Bulgaria, Montserrat Caballe, Manuel Ausensi, Spiros Argiris, DEBUT, Viotti, As.Li.Co, Passau International Competition and other. Performed as a soloist in many festivals in Bulgaria and abroad among which: Castell de Perelada Festival (Spain), Amadeus Festival and Music Festival Flanneris (France), Landmarks Summer Festival (USA) Beyttedin Festival (Lebanon), Rossini Opera Festival (Italy), Ambronay Baroque Festival (France) International Festival Ostrava and Prague Spring (Czech Republic), Misteria Paschalia (Poland), Baroque Festival Luxuria Europae Sofia, Royaumont and other, as well as in numerous operas in Germany, The Royal Danish Opera, Covent Garden (London), La Scala (Milan), Palau de les Arts (Valencia), Teatro Filarmonica (Verona) and many other. Since 2006 till 2011 Ina Kancheva was a soloist in the ensemble of the Stuttgart Opera, where she has performed the parts of Violetta in La Traviata, Comtess Adele in Le Comte Ory, Lucio Cinna in Lucio Silla, Micaela in Carmen and other. Outside the Stuttgart Opera, her appointments include also the parts of Susanna, Pamina, La Contessa Almamviva, Fiordiligi, Eliseta, Doralice, Mimi, Juliette, Giulia, Giulietta, Liu and other. Ina has worked with internationally renowned conductors such as Emil Tabakov, Adrian Leaper, David Parry, Enrique Mazzola, Rene Jacobs, Manfred Honeck, Alberto Zedda, Gianluigi Gelmetti, Alessandro Vitiello, Vasily Petrenko, Johannes Harneit, Cornelius Meister, Julia Jones, Sir Neville Marriner, Jiri Belohlavek, Julian Reynolds, Sebastian Rouland, Mark Piolet among others, as well as with leading specialists in Baroque music such as Martin Gester, Conrad Junghaenel,&nbspOttavio Dantone, Stefano Montanari a.o.
