Bio

It was born in Navarra where he started his musical Studies in the Conservatory Julian Romano. He was soon admitted to the Orfeón Donostiarra and began his singing career with Masako Ishii and Almudena Ortega. After being guided by Ileana Cotrubas, Jaume Aragall, Carlos Chausson, Ana Luisa Chova, Roberto Scandiuzzi, Andrew King, Juan Lomba and Maria Grazia Schiavo, he worked with the repertoire tutors Rubén Fernandez Aguirre, Alejandro Zabala, Jacques Blanc, Borja Mariño, Eduardo Lopez Banzo and David Levi. He has been performing with the pianist Gonzalo Trevijano since 2011. In the past few years he has offered several recitals sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Education, which have at times been recorded by Radio Nacional de España, and has sung soloist in oratorios such as Mass in G by Schubert, Litaniae Lauretanae and Mozart’s Requiem, Händel’s Messiah, Oratorio de Noël by Camille Saint-Saëns. He has also performed both zarzuelas ( Spanish operettas) like El Caserio, La Tabernera del Puerto, and operas : Un Ballo in Maschera, La Traviata, Rigoletto, Don Pasquale, La Bohème , in which he sang different roles along with artists like Inva Mula, Ana Ma Sánchez, Francisco Casanova, Ofelia Sala. In 2011 he took part in the programme Operastudio Madrid , which took place in El Teatro Real (Madrid), and sang in several Lyrical Concerts given in places such as Museo Arqueologico (Alcala de Henares), Museo Balenciaga (Guetaria), and Teatro Gayarre (Pamplona) where he played soloist in a recital with the Orchestra and Choir Premier Ensemble de AGAO, conducted by Jacques Blanc. He has sung the lead in the opening of the opera A Bordo de aquel Barco with music by Javier Jacinto. At present he is touring all over Spain with the pianist Gonzalo Trevijano with whom he will record a CD with a selection of works by Spanish and French composers .
