Australian Tenor, Iain Henderson, is a widely sought after performer who has been described as passionate and engaging performer. After developing a passion for music early as a percussionist, Iain Henderson began singing at the age of 13 with the Queensland Young Conservatorium Chamber Choir. 

As a member of the Opera Queensland Chorus from 2011, Iain has taken part in 10 productions as chorus/ensemble and in 2015 made his role debut as in the companies production of Candide. As a student at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music and through production with Opera Queensland and the Lisa Gasteen National Opera School, Iain has Performed Mayor Upfold (Albert Herring), Tamino (Die Zauberföte); and Covered or studied the roles of , Ferrando (Cosi fan tutte), Tom Rakewell (The Rake's Progress), Nemorino (L'Elisir d'Amore) and Riniuccio (Gianni Schicchi). 
In 2014, Mr. Henderson was selected to perform the Principal role of The Evangelist in the World Premiere of The Floods, an Opera written to commemorate the devastating Floods that affected so much of Queensland in 2011. 
Past concert appearances include solos in major works by Bach, Mozart, Handel, Schubert and Wagner. In 2014, Mr. Henderson performed as a guest Artist with the Worldwide phenomenon, BBC's Dr Who Symphonic Spectacular with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra. 

Iain Henderson has received several accolades and prizes including the 2016 Noosa Federation of the Arts Dame Joan Sutherland Award, 2014 Joyce Campbell-Lloyd Scholarship, 2014 Donald Penman Prize for Voices in Combination and the 2013 Ronald Dowd Memorial Prize for Tenors. As a Semi-Finalist in the 2014 Australian Singing Competition, Mr. Henderson was selected as one of the top ten young Operatic performers in Australia and New Zealand. 

He was also a participant in the 2013 and 2014 Lisa Gasteen National Opera School, where he worked with John Fisher, Giovanni Reggioli, Richard Hetherington and Stuart Maunder.
