Bio


Hanna Ramminger, soprano, completed her Master's degree in opera in the class of MET-soprano Prof. Carolyn Grace James at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg in 2016. Prior to this, she graduated at the Akademie für Tonkunst Darmstadt in opera which again was preceded by another diploma in vocal pedagogics at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt (dependency Wiesbadener Musikakademie).


She performed roles such as Pamina in "Die Zauberflöte", Despina in "Cosi fan tutte", Belinda in "Dido and Aeneas", and Rosina in "Il barbiere di Siviglia" (Paisiello).
Beside opera roles she also dedicates to Lied and frequently takes over main parts in famous oratorio repertoire like "Ein deutsches Requiem", "Messiah" or "Elijah".


Hanna Ramminger received a scholarship from the Carl-Hempel-Stiftung and the Richard-Wagner-Verband. She completes her skills by attending masterclasses offered by e.g. Brigitte Fassbaender, Prof. Caroline Thomas, Prof. Thomas Heyer and Judith Lindenbaum.
