«Ritengo che l’attitudine più congeniale e autentica di Gabriele Bonolis sia quella direttoriale, nella quale confluiscono le migliori doti di questo musicista di talento: la concretezza, il rigore interpretativo, la sicura tecnica direttoriale e la coinvolgente comunicativa.»
Ennio Morricone (2017)
«Gabriele Bonolis is an excellent conductor: having witnessed his work, I can testify to his capacity in leading an orchestra, animating them, as well as making a careful reading of the score. I give him my best recommendation.»
Lasse Thoresen, Composer, Professor of composition at the Norwegian Academy of Music (2017)
«M° Gabriele Bonolis has recently conducted my “ Divertimento per 11 strumenti”. This piece (published by Boosey and Hawkes Ed. , London) was conducted in the past by several conductors. Among these Carlo Maria Giulini and Robert Craft. Giulini conducted the premièr , recorded on a Warner Fonit CD 5050466-3127-2-3. His interpretation is completely right, but that one of Gabriele Bonolis seems to be even better. It is technically perfect. It wonderfully captures the spirit of the piece and all its expressive intentions. It is pervaded by that special vitality which denotes an outstanding quality of interpreting. I believe that Bonolis deserves a bright career. Truly yours»
