The egyptian Mezzosoprano is since September 2016 a member of the “Atelier Lyrique” or the “Academie”of the national Opera House  of Paris ( Bastille/Garnier). Since then she performed the Role of “ Kate Julian” in Benjamin Britten’s Opera Owen Wingrave at the  Amphitheatre of Opera Bastille. Recently she sang Beatrice of Berlioz’s Opera Beatrice et Benedict and Nancy of Flotow’s Opera Martha in a Gala Concert with the Orchestra of the Opera of Paris at Opera Garnier., conducted by Patrick Lange.

In 2015 she staged the Role of “Carmen” in Bizets Opera Carmen at the Neukoellner Oper in Berlin. Her Performance was enthusiastically acclaimed by Audience and Press, in Udo Badelts (TAGESSPIEGEL) words “vocally sensational, being the Peek of the Evening, Farrah is a voluminous Mezzo, burgundy, smoky timbre, oriental, mystic, dalidaesk.”and according to BERLINER ZEITUNG “ an adaptable wonderful velvety powerful Mezzo-soprano”.
She was later that Year nominated by one of the critics in the critics Survey in the Yearbook of the “Opernwelt” Magazine as the best Upcoming Young Opera Singer for her outstanding Performance as “Carmen” in Bizet’s Opera Carmen at the Neukoellner Oper Berlin.

Since her Studies at the Hanns-Eisler, Farrah performed in Haendels “Xerxes” the role of “Amastre”, the Alto Role of “Martha” in the russian Opera Iolanta of Tchaikovsky, “Orfeo” of Gluck's Orfeo ed
Euridice, “Orlofsky” in J.Strauss Die Fledermaus and last " Ramiro" in Mozart's La finta giardiniera. She has performed in all major venues in Cairo and Alexandria, giving her Debut at the Cairo Opera House in 2003 with the Cairo Opera Company in the french Opera “ Lakme” by Delibes, where she sang the mezzosoprano Role of “Mrs. Bentson”in a joint production of the Opera House Saint Etienne at the Cairo Opera House directed by Jean louis Pichon. Since then she performed the “2nd Dame” in Mozarts “Zauberfloete, first time in egyptian arabic, followed by " Cornelia" of Haendel's " Cesare
in Egitto" at Cairo Opera House, “Dido” of Purcells “Dido and Aeneas” twice, first at Radialsystem in Berlin and then at the Marburger Schlossfestspiele.
Her very recent Production was the Role of "Pyhtia" of the contemporary Composer Aribert Reiman's" Melusine" accompanied by the Brandenburger Symphonic Orchestra.

The young Mezzosoprano started Piano lessons at the age of 10. When she was 14 she started Voice Lessons with Dr. Neveen Allouba and she pursued her Studies at the Hfm Hanns-Eisler in Berlin with Martin Bruns and Prof. Janet Williams, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts. She recently finished her Masters of Opera at the University of Arts Berlin, studying with renowned Opera Singer Markus Brueck. Simultaneously she pursued her studies of Architecture at the Technische Universitaet of Berlin, graduating in 2012 with a Bachelor's Degree.
She Joined the Arts Center of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in 2005 where she has since participated in many Concerts with the Orchestra of the Bibliotheca. She also recieved a couple of Prices, the first prize of the Singing Competition of the Egyptian Supreme Council of Culture and the 3rd prize at the international Singing Competition of “Guilio Perotti” in Germany. Since 2016 she is a frequent Jury Member of the german Music Competition” Jugend Musiziert” at the National Round of the eastern Mediterranean Region.


Her Repertoire obtains Roles, such as Carmen, Maddalena, Ramiro, Dido, Cornelia, Orfeo, Orlofsky, Olga, Pauline, Pythia, Dorabella, Charlotte, Oktavian, 2.Dame and 3.Dame.
