Hailed by critics for having “a voice of uncommon liquidity and resonance, with a sure way with coloratura” (The Financial Times, London) and described as having a “top range with ring and flexibility… with real squillo in his tone and he can spin a bel canto line elegantly” (South Florida Classical Review), tenor Fabian Robles is quickly establishing himself in the belcanto and lyric tenor repertoire with his natural vocalism and vivid stage presence.

Fabian starts year 2019 sharing the stage with a stellar cast that includes superstar tenor Roberto Alagna, soprano Aleksandra Kurzak and baritone Roberto Frontali in a semi-staged production of Leoncavallo’s “I Pagliacci” in San Juan, Puerto Rico, reprising the role of Beppe/Arlecchino. In 2018 the young tenor reprises the multi-faceted Count Almaviva in Rossini's comedy Il Barbiere di Siviglia on tour with Teatro Lirico d'Europa, as well as several concerts including their “Tribute to Pavarotti Gala”.

Fabian returned to perform the role of Alfredo in Verdi's La Traviatafor Opera New Hampshire in 2017, as well as Pong in Puccini’s masterpiece Turandot before goingon tour in the series of concerts “Tribute to Pavarotti” and “From Opera to Broadway” with sensational reviews, also returning to Miami Lyric Opera as Count Almaviva in Rossini's Il Barbiere di Siviglia. In 2016 Robles performed several solo recitals and returned to Palmetto Opera as part of their concert “From Opera to Broadway” to rave reviews. For Miami Lyric Opera, Robles gave life to the tenor lead “Jorge”, a role that Alfredo Kraus made famous in Spain’s foremost opera, Emilio Arrieta’sMarina, received with unanimous enthusiasm by audiences and critics alike. Engagements for 2015 included Rodolfo in La Bohèmeand “Pavarotti Tribute” concerts in various cities as well as Carl Orff's difficult tenor part in his Carmina Buranawith Fairbanks Symphony Orchestra in Alaska.

The possessor of outstanding vocal qualities, including a solid upper extension and uncommon flexibility for coloratura, paired with a noble stage presence and acting skills, allows Robles to excel in a varied repertoire that includes the tenor leads in Verdi's Rigoletto andLa Traviata; Donizetti'sLucia di Lammermoor, La fille du régiment, L’elisir d'amore, Don Pasquale; Puccini’s La Bohèmeand Gianni Schicchi; Rossini's La Cenerentola, Il barbiere di Sivigliaand Otello; Mozart's Così fan tutte, Don Giovanniand Le Nozze di Figaro; the Italian Tenor in Strauss' Der Rosenkavalier, Gounod's Roméo et Juliette; Bizet's Les Pecheurs de perles; Orff's Carmina Burana; as well as some of the most beloved Zarzuelas in the Spanish repertoire which require excellent acting and theatrical skills like El Barberillo de Lavapiés, Luisa Fernanda, Los Gavilanes, Doña Francisquita and El Asombro de Damasco and the Spanish opera Marina, among others.
